Extended data:

1, research history

In ancient Persia, antares, the alpha star of Scorpio, was regarded as one of the four pillars to protect the celestial sphere. The other three pillars were Beiluoshimen, the alpha star of Pisces, Xuanyuan, the alpha star of Leo, and Bisuwu, the alpha star of Taurus.

In ancient astronomy in China, the three stars in Scorpio are called Shang Xing and the three stars in Orion's belt are called Laonian Xing. Scorpio and Orion are the most prominent constellations in summer and winter respectively. They just rise and fall, never meet, and can't appear in the sky at the same time. Therefore, Du Fu has a poem: "When friends meet, it is as difficult as the stars in the morning and evening." (Eight Guards for Chu Shi).

It is also known as the "fishing star". (The hook representing Jiang Taigong's fishing can be imagined as a "D" pattern, because the shape of Scorpio is "S" and the hook of Scorpio's tail is located above the Milky Way, so it is also called the hook of Jiang Taigong's fishing "who wants to take the bait?" )
