I come from Wuhan, but fortunately I speak Mandarin with almost no southern accent. The reason is simple: my mother is a northerner, my father was an excellent drama actor when he was a teenager, and Mandarin has always been the official language at home; I grew up in a military academy, where, like a university, people from all corners of the country can only let others know themselves by choosing Mandarin.
1994, I was very lucky to be sent to Peking University Law Department. Four years of carefree university life, just in time to catch up with the legal report column when facing graduation. After selection, I was absorbed into this group. Until today, work is that sentence. Many of my classmates became lawyers. I often feel isolated when people get together. But on second thought, there is not much difference in the work we do. First of all, we all have to talk, but the lawyer tells the other lawyer and judge, and I tell the audience and guests. Fortunately, the guests are very cultured and will not be as anxious as the opposing lawyer. Secondly, lawyers are afraid of judges, and presenters are afraid of producers. Because he will review your program, and once he feels dissatisfied, he will "click" mercilessly, which is called "pat" in the jargon. The feeling of being "killed" is no different from losing the case. Finally, everyone has an audience. The lawyer's audience is in the gallery, just face to face with him, while my audience is in front of their own TV, maybe across the Yangtze River and Yellow River from me.
After graduation, I was sent to the Graduate School of Peking University Law Department. I have been shuttling between Yanyuan and CCTV in a dual capacity (a law student and a law column host). This busy time is three years.
The biggest feeling in the past three years is the word "tired", but every time I think of countless pairs of eyes eager to rely on legal help in the camera, I feel happy again.
