What season is cricket?

Crickets are animals in autumn.

Crickets start to sing in the early autumn night every year, so they are also called nocturnal insects. Cricket chirping is caused by the friction and vibration of male crickets' wings, mainly to attract female crickets to mate. There are also warnings for other male crickets. Cricket generally lives alone. When two males meet, they will bite each other and kill each other. In ancient times, people used this feature to invent the game of cricket fighting.

Cricket is an incomplete abnormal insect. Adults can't overwinter naturally and will die soon after laying eggs. Female crickets lay their eggs in cracks in the soil and hatch into nymphs after winter. After molting several times, the nymph emerges as an adult. Cricket is an agricultural pest, especially for the seedlings of crops. The lack of seedlings will seriously affect the harvest.
