Zhang ailing's later years

From 65438 to 0972, Zhang Ailing moved to Los Angeles and began to live in seclusion.

1973 Zhang Ailing published A Dream of Red Mansions in Crown, and some of Zhang Ailing's essays and novels were reprinted by Taiwan Province Province.

During the period of 1974, Zhang Ailing published "Talking about Reading" and "Talking about Reading Postscript" in the supplement of China Times, and published "A Dream of Red Mansions" in Crown, completing the English translation of "The Story of Flowers on the Sea" (unpublished, but lost due to moving).

From 65438 to 0976, Zhang Ailing published her second collection of essays, Zhang Kan, and three details of A Dream of Red Mansions. 1977- 1993, Zhang Ailing successively completed the creation of Lust, Caution, Dissatisfaction and Contrast, and published A Dream of Red Mansions.

1On September 8, 995, 75-year-old Zhang Ailing was found only one week after her death at her home in Ximu District, Los Angeles. Lin Shi was appointed executor before his death. On September 19, the body was cremated at Rose Hill Cemetery in Huizel, Los Angeles. On September 30th, the ashes were carried out of the sea by Lin Shitong, Zhang Cuo, Gao, Zhang Shaoqian, Xu Yuanxiang and others and scattered in the Pacific Ocean.
