Is the eight-character valve and the angle valve the same thing?

The two are not the same thing.

Both eight-character valve and angle valve are used to regulate water flow, but their structures and uses are different. Eight-character valves are usually used to connect water pipes and hoses, which are common in kitchens and bathrooms. Angle valves are mostly used at the corner of water pipes in families, which can be used to cut off or adjust the water flow and facilitate the maintenance and replacement of water heaters. Therefore, although their functions are similar, they are different in installation and use.
