1, Tsinghua University
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronic Technology of Tsinghua University (hereinafter referred to as the Department of Electrical Engineering) was founded in 1932, which is one of the first three engineering departments established in Tsinghua University. 1989 took the lead in merging the original three majors of power system automation, high voltage technology and motor into a wide-caliber major of "electrical engineering and automation" and included it in the national professional recommendation catalogue. This discipline is the first batch of national first-class key disciplines and first-class doctoral programs, and it has remained the first or A+ in all previous discipline evaluations. The Department of Electrical Engineering has the State Key Laboratory of Safety Control and Simulation of Power System and Large Power Generation Equipment.
The Department of Electrical Engineering has full-time teachers 103, including 35 full-time teachers and 55 associate senior teachers, including China Academy of Sciences and Academy of Engineering 1 person and 8 IEEE Fellow8. The Department of Electrical Engineering has always adhered to the concept of taking international cutting-edge basic research as the goal and facing the important needs of national economic construction, and carried out scientific research for the two major industries of electricity and electrician, and won 27 national science and technology awards in the past two decades.
2.Xi Jiaotong University
The School of Electrical Engineering of Xi Jiaotong University was formerly the School of Electrical Engineering of Nanyang Public College (the predecessor of Jiaotong University), which was founded in 1908. It is the earliest electrician subject in China's higher education. The college has a strong faculty and advanced experimental equipment, and the two disciplines are the most complete. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, through the efforts of several generations, it has become one of the important bases for talent training and scientific research and innovation in the field of electrical engineering in China.
At present, the main discipline of the college is the national first-class key discipline of electrical engineering, covering two first-class disciplines: control science and engineering, instrument science and technology. It has the State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation of Power Equipment, the National Teaching Base of Basic Courses of Electrotechnics and Electronics, the Key Laboratory of Special Electrical Technology (Class E) of the Ministry of Education, the Key Laboratory of Smart Grid in Shaanxi Province, the Shaanxi High Voltage Discharge and Plasma Engineering Technology Research Center and the Shaanxi High Voltage and Heavy Current Testing Technology and Equipment Engineering Laboratory.
3. Zhejiang University
School of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University developed from the former Department of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University and was founded in 1920. It is called the Department of Electrical Engineering, and it is one of the earliest electrical departments in China. The College is located in Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University, and consists of the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Systems Science and Engineering, the Department of Applied Electronics and the Basic Teaching Center of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
The college covers two first-class disciplines: electrical engineering, control science and engineering, among which electrical engineering is the main discipline and the first batch of national first-class key disciplines. It has been included in the national "2 1 1" and "985" key construction projects, and selected into the national first-class discipline construction list. The college has a total of electrical engineering majors, and has the right to award doctoral degrees in the first-class discipline of electrical engineering, two disciplines of control theory and control engineering, and seven master's degrees in two disciplines. There are three undergraduate majors in electrical engineering and its automation, automation and electronic information engineering.
