The current Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is ()

Lee Ka Chiu John. Li Jiachao, the current Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, was elected as the candidate for the sixth Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on May 8, 2022. On May 20, 2022, the the State Council Plenary decided to appoint Li as the sixth Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and he took office on July 1 2022, and was sworn in as the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on July 1 2022.
