How to judge whether your karma is heavy or not?

First, delusion means that the karma is heavy.

Q:

How do you know how heavy your karma is? How to eliminate karma?

Void mage:

The heavier the karma, the more delusions (distractions) people will have. Usually impetuous, can't calm down. When they meditate, recite Buddha, chant Buddhist scripture and hold incantations, their distractions fly, and sometimes they even get out of control like wild horses.

So delusion is karma, which means delusion is a manifestation of karma.

The ways to eliminate karma include chanting Buddha, repentance, liberation, doing good deeds, turning over unjust relatives and creditors, etc.

When you find chanting, chanting and chanting, there are fewer distractions and it is easier to be quiet, indicating that the karma is reduced.

Second, mention mindfulness.

In chanting Buddha and Buddhism, the good knowledge of these ancestors often enlighten us: let go of the physical and mental world, let go of fate and enhance mindfulness.

What is mindfulness? Mindlessness is mindfulness, mindlessness is not delusion, nor mindlessness.

What is delusion? Anything for yourself is wishful thinking.

Third, I have karma.

Where does karma come from? Where does life and death come from? Where does reincarnation come from? As long as there is me, there is karma, life and death, and reincarnation.

Therefore, Buddhism says that the first person to gain enlightenment in Buddhism is the ego.

The Diamond Sutra says: Without me, there is no one, no sentient beings, no immortality.

Without me, you will become a Buddhist. Without me, there would be no selfishness, no worries, no karma, no life and death.

Fourth, fundamentally speaking, thought is fundamental.

If we really want to benefit from the extraordinary merits of Buddhism in this life, we must practice seriously.

Where to practice? Grandpa Dade often teaches us: repair from the root.

What is this? Just thoughts and illusions. How to get rid of delusion is called radical cure.

The Buddha told us in the scripture: every thought we have is rewarded, and one thought is the cause of personal life and death, which is terrible! One good thought and three good ways were born; The evil of one thought is the evil of three ways.

Nothing, think about the past, think about the other three good roads; If you want to do evil, there are three other evil ways. Great! So, don't think about the past or the future.

Five, the past experience, the present experience, the future experience.

1, understand

The past only exists in your memory. If you forget your memory, you destroy the past.

The future only exists in your illusion. If you eliminate delusions, you eliminate the future.

Now it only exists in the feeling of "I" If you destroy me, you destroy the present.

Then you enter the Prajna meditation.

2. Meng Po

Everyone should learn from Meng Po in the underworld. Meng Po was born in the Western Han Dynasty. He studied Confucian books since childhood and began to recite Buddhist scriptures when he grew up.

When she was alive, she never looked back and never thought about the future. She just wholeheartedly advised people not to kill, but to be vegetarian.

She was a virgin until she was eighty-one. She only knows her family name is Meng, so her name is Meng Po.

Later, Meng Po went into the mountains to practice until the later Han Dynasty. Because at that time, people who knew the karma of past lives often revealed secrets, so God appointed Meng Po as the God of the underworld and built it for her? Forget about Taiwan Province.

The Diamond Sutra says: You can't get a heart in the past, you can't get a heart now, and you can't get a heart in the future. The past has passed, and the future has not yet arrived. What do you want it for? Why not spend these hours thinking about Amitabha and reading Amitabha?

Six, training for a thousand days, with a moment.

It is necessary to recite Buddha, otherwise it will be too late. As the saying goes, it takes a thousand days to practice.

We are training every day now, and we only have Amitabha in our minds and have no other thoughts. I'll tell you what kind of karma is gone.

What is karma? Delusion is karma. Without delusion, there will be no karma. If you live and die freely, you can predict the time and even when you want to die.

The general trend is that bodhisattva practices Buddhism: all take six, and pure thoughts come and go. Amitabha's voice is continuous, uninterrupted at two or six o'clock. This is a good example for Buddhist practitioners.

The general trend, the bodhisattva is equal to the bodhisattva. He is: all take six bodhisattvas, and the net thoughts are one after another. We can't stop chanting Buddha's name all day, even if we feel like a bodhisattva, not to mention that we are beginners.
