The correct way to walk in small four steps;

Stand with your feet at an angle of 45 degrees to the front (90 degrees between your feet). Step on your left foot in the toe direction (that is, in front of a 45-degree angle), with your heel touching the ground first, then your right foot following, and your heel is in the posture of your feet before departure. Then the right foot takes a 45-degree angle to the right, and the left foot follows, thus completing the real progress.

In Peking Opera, old students have to take four steps, also called eight-character steps, which require lifting their legs, wiping the soles of their boots, centering on their waist and cooperating with their limbs.
