The reason why the Han Dynasty was so powerful was that there were more emperors with outstanding abilities than other dynasties. In addition to the Eastern Han Dynasty, look at the emperors in the Western Han Dynasty, needless to say, the founding emperor Liu Bang and Emperor Wudi were also wise emperors. Emperor Wudi and Qin Shihuang were equal, and then Liu Xun of Emperor Xuandi appeared. By the way, there is also Liu Qi, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, who is also ranked first in history and started the "rule of Wenjing" with Wendi.
For Emperor Han Jingdi, there are many praises in the history books. Ban Gu said, "Han Xing, clean up your troubles and share the interest with the people. As for filial piety, plus courtesy and filial piety, between 50 and 60 years, as for changing customs, the people are mellow. " Cao Zhi, a small fan of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty, unabashedly praised: "Jingdi Mingde, following the rule of civilization, destroyed the royal family, destroyed the seven countries, paid taxes in service, enriched the people, changed customs, and made it beautiful."
No one is perfect, and there is no shortage of gold. Since some people praised Emperor Han Jingdi, others accused him of his shortcomings. Is Han Jingdi really as wise as Ban Gu and Cao Zhi said? What kind of emperor is the real emperor of Han Jing? Su Zhe once gave an evaluation of 16, which hit the nail on the head. This 16 is "avoid generosity, but there is no gentleman's quantity, in fact, it is not Wendi."
Su Zhe means that Emperor Han Jing is narrow-minded, ungrateful and intolerant of others. He can't compare with his father, Emperor Wendi, and he is worse than one grade. If what you say is groundless, it is absolutely unconvincing. Look at the following three examples, you will find that Su Zhe's words are true, and he hit the nail on the head. He didn't wronged Emperor Han Jingdi, and his faults and shortcomings are obvious.
First, when Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty was a prince, the son of Liu Bi, the king of Wu, went to Beijing to see Emperor Wen. Who is Liu Bi? He is the son of Liu Bang, the cousin of Wendi, and the son of Liu Bi is the cousin of Liu Qi, the emperor of Han Jing (the cousin is more likely, so it is considered as a cousin for the time being). Liu Qi plays chess with his cousin. The atmosphere was harmonious, but for some reason, they had an argument. Without saying anything, Liu Qi smashed his cousin with a chessboard and killed him alive. According to historical records: "The emperor is a prince, and the prince of Wu Yingzhi came to the DPRK to argue with the emperor. The emperor was furious and killed him with games."
It can be boldly guessed that nine times out of ten, Liu Qi lost his eyes in the process of playing chess, and at the same time, his cousin (Liu Ying's son) was not very good, which angered Liu Qi with a bad temper. Not to mention who is right or wrong, just for a game of chess, Liu Qi's cruelty to his cousin is enough to show that his mind is too small to restrain his inner impulse.
Secondly, Emperor Jing of the Han Dynasty decreed that the seven kings of the Sect, led by Liu Bi, rebelled. In order to calm this matter, Emperor Han Jing directly beheaded Chao Cuo and played a trick of "abandoning his life to protect his handsome". Although Chao Cuo put forward the policy of reducing vassals, he did it for the sake of harmony with the Han Dynasty and got the consent of Manchu officials.
The killing of Chao Cuo shows that Han Jing is irresponsible and ungrateful. Moreover, after Chao Cuo's death, C did not withdraw until he was pacified by the imperial army. Objectively speaking, Emperor Han Jing shouldn't have killed Chao Cuo. He has gone too far in this matter. Later generations commented on Chao Cuo: "Loyalty is high, dragons have changed, cadres have changed, and Chao Cuo has changed."
Finally, Zhou Yafu was forced to die. In the process of pacifying the rebellion of the Seven Kingdoms, Zhou Yafu was the greatest hero, and Han Jing should thank him for his affection and reason. Unfortunately, Emperor Han Jing is not his father, and the number of people allowed is even less than that of Emperor Han Wen. Instead of thanking Zhou Yafu, he finally found an excuse and accused him of rebellion. Zhou Yafu was outraged and died in prison to prove his innocence.
Through the attitude towards Chao Cuo and Zhou Yafu, the sons of Liu Bi, we can see that Emperor Han Jing was "jealous and ungrateful, and no one respected him". Do you have any different views on Emperor Han Jingdi? Welcome to leave a message for discussion.
