Among the many Yongkang scenic tourism resources, Fang Yan is undoubtedly the leader. She is attracting a large number of tourists with its "three wonders": Danxia Wonderland, cultural wonders, and temple fairs.
1. Danxia Wonderland
Yongkang Fangyan is one of the most fully developed and distinctive Danxia landform areas in my country. Fangyan Mountain is 400 meters high and about 3,000 meters in circumference. The flat ground is abrupt and the walls are cut. The area of ??the peak and the foot of the peak are almost the same. It is majestic and resembles a square pillar holding up the sky, so it is named Fangyan. The mountains near Fangyan all have steep cliffs and solitary peaks. They may be square or round in shape, steep and steep, and may be red or purple in color. The majestic cliff face, which can easily cover thousands or even tens of thousands of square meters, has vertical and horizontal joints and wrinkles, making it incredibly powerful and majestic. In addition, there are strange rocks and strange rocks in the cave, beautiful waterfalls and beautiful water. When you are in the Danxia Peak Forest, you really feel like you are in a fairyland. Yu Dafu, a famous Chinese writer, said in "Fangyan Jingjing" that in the past, when I looked at the strange cliffs in Chinese paintings, I always felt that I had climbed to the top. "Now that I have arrived at Fangyan, I can only take a glance at the mountains to understand the southern sect and the northern sect." Painting mountains and touching stones, there is still something to be desired. ”
2. Cultural wonders
There are dozens of Fangyan temples, including Guangci Temple. It is a famous temple in eastern Zhejiang that was built in the Tang Dynasty. The most surprising thing is that these temples are almost without exception built in large and small caves, forming a unique group of cave temples in China. The cliff is the top, which is the cave support tree. Its strange and ingenious structure often astonishes visitors.
The most unique humanistic phenomenon in Fang Yan is Hu Gong. On August 21, 1959, Chairman Mao Zedong's special train returned to Beijing from Lushan and passed through Jinhua to meet with some county party committee secretaries. Mao Zedong said: "Isn't there a Fangyan Mountain in Yongkang? Fangyan Mountain has the most famous Emperor Hu Gong, whose incense has never faded." He also said: "Hu Gong is not a Buddha or a god, but a human being. , he was an upright official in the Northern Song Dynasty. He did many good things for the people. It is important for the people to commemorate him. It is important to serve as an official and benefit one party!" Mao Zedong made a historical materialist analysis of Hu Gong's phenomenon, but in In the minds of the people, Duke Hu is the great emperor who "answers all requests and prayers" and is the patron saint and god of happiness of the people. Hu Gong's followers are spread all over central Zhejiang, eastern Zhejiang, and southern Zhejiang, and his influence has spread as far as Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian and other surrounding provinces and cities. He is one of the largest local gods in Jiangnan.
3. Strange customs of temple fairs
The Fangyan Temple Fair originated from the activity of worshiping Hu Gong and has a history of more than a thousand years. Different from ordinary temple fairs, the Fangyan Temple Fair is firstly large in scale and wide in scope, involving most of Zhejiang Province; secondly, it lasts for about one and a half months, from the first day of the eighth lunar month to mid-September; thirdly, it contains almost no economic activities. It is purely a gathering of folk arts, sports, and folk customs. During the temple fair, people from Yongkang and surrounding counties and cities formed "Arhat Troupes" in villages and performed at Fangyan according to the scheduled schedule. Some were boxing and dancing with sticks, practicing eighteen kinds of martial arts; some were playing the flute, singing and dancing. This is a traditional folk entertainment and fitness activity. Many of these outstanding programs, such as Eighteen Butterflies and Nine Lions, have gone beyond Fangyan and abroad, becoming world-class folk art treasures.
With these "three wonders", Fangyan is indeed worth a visit! Just imagine how pleasant it would be to watch the colorful temple fairs and customs in the dreamlike wonderland of Danxia; to reflect on the ancient sentiments amidst the ever-lasting incense and in front of the new and beautiful Wufeng Academy. , What an elegant spiritual enjoyment! When traveling to Yongkang, you can eat Yongkang meat and wheat cakes, tofu cakes and other local snacks; stay in star-rated hotels such as Mingzhu Hotel, Yongkang Hotel, Zhendong Hotel, Taotao Hotel, Wufeng Hotel, and Fangyan Villa; purchase Chinese technology Hardware City is the largest hardware shopping paradise in the country. The affordable and high-quality hardware household tools, cooking utensils, tea sets, etc. will make you linger and come back with a full load.
It is true that in the past few years, a small number of villagers at the foot of Fangyan Mountain, driven by economic interests, had some phenomena of forcing sales, following and selling, bullying, cheating, and robbing customers, which seriously damaged the scenery of Fangyan. District reputation.
Since the Yongkang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government restructured the leadership team of the Tourism Bureau this year, the new leadership team has firmly established a strong sense of responsibility of "serving as an official for one term, both for prosperity and for ensuring peace and security", and has collaborated with the public security and industrial and commercial departments to implement comprehensive management of scenic spots and adopted multiple measures. This initiative has strengthened management efforts, thereby creating a safe, civilized and orderly tourism environment and reversing the situation of numerous tourist complaints. Therefore, Fangyan's tourism environment is no longer what it used to be, and now Fangyan's economic, social and environmental benefits have been greatly improved. Fangyan will provide every tourist with a full range of high-quality services in food, accommodation, travel, shopping and entertainment, so that they can come back happy and satisfied.
In order to meet tourists’ psychological needs of “seeking novelty, seeking knowledge, seeking pleasure, and seeking change”, expand the capacity of tourism in Fangyan, and reshape Fangyan’s image, we have worked hard on planning and formulated a plan for Fangyan in the next few years. The development ideas: First, build a strong main body (Fangyan Mountain and Nanyan Scenic Area), and expand the two wings (Wufeng Scenic Area and Shiguliao Scenic Area) to expand the space and enrich the theme. Second, plans (or relocation, or demolition and construction) for the two villages at the foot of Fangyan Mountain will be implemented step by step. The shortcomings of the villages being too close to the scenic area will be easily solved. We believe that through our unremitting efforts, a brand new Fangyan will be presented to tourists.
