Looking in the mirror is one of the methods to evaluate hair loss after brain injury. The best way is to ask friends to take pictures of the back of the head. Another evaluation method is to hire a barber or beautician.
At present, the most commonly used is the general hair transplant mechanism to classify and compare hair loss. See below.
Hair loss has several characteristics.
1. Progressiveness: First, the hair follicle gradually slows down, the hair shaft becomes thinner, and the hair density becomes sparse.
2. Geomorphology: Hair loss generally begins to fade from the edge of forehead hairline, such as 2A to 3A.
3. vault baldness: special baldness will fall from the middle of the head and meet the forehead baldness.
4. Retention: Many people will not lose hair on both sides and arytenoid cartilage area of the brain even if the whole head is bald.
5. Advantages of hair transplantation: Hair transplanted from non-bald areas still retains the characteristics of hair follicles in non-bald areas and will not be bald again.
