Lu You's Tang Wan Story

Lu You and Tang Wan were cousins. Lu You was about twenty years old and married Tang Wan. After marriage, the couple get along well and have a good relationship. Unexpectedly, it caused Liu Mu's dissatisfaction. After Lu Mu thought that Tang Wan had delayed her son's future, she ordered Lu You to divorce Tang Wan. Lu You once built another yard for Tang Wan. When her mother found out, she ordered Lu You to marry another dutiful wang xing woman. Tang Wan was also forced by her father to remarry in Zhao Shicheng, the same county.

A few years later, Lu You visited Shenyuan Garden and happened to meet Mr. and Mrs. Tang Wan in the garden. With the consent of her husband Zhao Shicheng, Tang Wan personally proposed a toast to Lu You. After Lu You drank it, he wrote the poem "Hairpin Phoenix" in Shenyuan, and then he left. ?

After a meeting in Shen Yuan, Tang Wan was heartbroken. After returning to China, I pondered Lu You's words repeatedly, and then wrote the same Qupai words, and soon died of depression. Until his later years, Lu You often remembered the past and could not forget the old feelings. For this reason, he wrote many touching poems. People were moved by these poems, but also remembered the story of him and Tang Wan.

Extended data:

Lu You's love tragedy originated from the notes of three poets in Song Dynasty, namely, Chen Hu's Continuation of Old Things, Liu Kezhuang's Continuation of Poems in Houcun and Shan Ye Tale. Hu Chen mentioned this for the first time, recorded the words "Chai Feng is red and crisp" and pointed out that "the wall of Xichun Room (1174-1189) is still there". ? Later, Liu Kezhuang also mentioned Lu You's early marriage, but only recorded two quatrains in Shen Yuan. ? By the end of Song Dynasty and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty, Shen Yuan's stories were described in detail, similar to novels. ?

In the Qing dynasty, Tang's answer began to appear, and Ding Chuanjing further pointed out that "I married a wife named Tang Mingwan". Wu, a scholar in the Song Dynasty, questioned the poetic art of Shenyuan, mainly because there are differences in the notes of Shenyuan.
