Ask everyone a Cantonese song? The first lyric of this song is: Today, I watched snowflakes drift by on a cold night.

Title: Broad Sky, Singer: Beyond.

Album: Beyond the 20th Anniversary

Word:, Qu:

Today, I watched snowflakes drift by on a cold night.

Drifting away with a cool heart, chasing in the wind and rain.

I can't tell the difference in the fog, it's wide, you and me.

Can change, (who doesn't change)

How many times, faced with cold eyes and ridicule

I never gave up my ideal, and I was in a trance for a moment.

If there is a sense of loss, it has faded unconsciously.

Love is in my heart, (who knows me)

Forgive my unrestrained love and freedom in life, I am afraid that one day I will fall down.

Anyone can turn his back on his ideal.

I'm not afraid that one day it will be just you and me, and today I am.

Watching the snow drift away in the cold night with a cold heart.

Chasing in the wind and rain, you can't tell them apart in the fog.

The sky is wide, you and me, can we change?

No one has changed. Forgive me for being addicted to love and freedom all my life.

I am also afraid that one day I will degenerate and abandon my ideals.

Anyone can do it. How can I be afraid that one day it will be just you and me?

Still free, singing my songs forever.

Take the road of Wan Li, and forgive my unrestrained love and freedom in this life.

I am also afraid that one day I will degenerate and abandon my ideals.

Anyone can do it. How can I be afraid that one day it will be just you and me?

Forgive my unrestrained love and freedom in life, I am afraid that one day I will fall down.

Anyone can turn his back on his ideal.

I'm not afraid that one day it will be just you and me.

Creation background

From 65438 to 0992, Beyond shifted the focus of its career development to Japan, ending its long-term cooperative relationship with Xinyibao. Becoming an international band has always been Beyond's dream. However, Beyond was quite depressed for a while because of Japan's strict requirements for music production and language barriers, but they still worked hard.

1At the end of May, 993, Beyond returned to Hong Kong from Japan, which coincided with the 10th anniversary of Beyond's founding, so Ka Kui Wong wrote this song "Broad Sky" which recorded Beyond's ten-year mental journey. The lyrics bear the hardships of Ka Kui Wong and the band's development in Japan and their persistence in their ideals, and are included in the Cantonese album Joy and Anger. This song also expresses Ka Kui Wong's deep struggle and disappointment with the Hong Kong music scene.
