The wallpaper should be pasted from the adjacent wall of the main window from bright to dark. In this way, even if the wallpaper edges overlap, there is no shadow and the overlap will not be obvious. If more than one wall has windows, the largest window should be used as the main light source.
Follow the steps below and paste one by one clockwise from the right side of the wall with the main light window. Left-handers can start from the left.
1. Mark it with a pencil at a distance of 19 inch from the top corner of the wall, so that the wallpaper has enough width to be transferred from this wall to the wall with windows.
2. Hang a plumb line along the wall at the mark, and draw a marker line along the plumb line with a pencil. Check whether the distance between the marking line and the corner is consistent up and down. If the corners are not straight, and the distance exceeds 19 inch in some places, the wallpaper will not have enough width to transfer to the adjacent walls. You can move the plumb line closer to the corner and redraw the marker line.
3. Take the glued wallpaper to the wall, gently uncover the folded part at the top, and hold both sides with your hands. Don't let the lower part of the wallpaper suddenly fall, so as not to break or stretch, and it can't be aligned with other wallpapers.
4. Lift the upper right corner of the wallpaper so that the right side of the wallpaper is aligned with the marking line.
Note: A margin of about 2 inches or 50 mm should be left at the top of the wallpaper for trimming.
5. When the right wallpaper is aligned with the sign line, don't let the edge of the left wallpaper touch the wall.
6. After the right side of the wallpaper is aligned, smooth the wallpaper to the upper left corner by hand or brush, and stick the upper left corner on the wall.
7. Brush the upper part from the center of the wallpaper with a brush. The right side of the wallpaper must be aligned with the marking line.
8. Uncover the folded part of the lower part of the wallpaper. Brush the middle part down first, then brush off all bubbles in a figure of eight to both sides, and then pat the edge of the paper with a pen tip or cloth ball.
9. After the wallpaper is pasted, draw an obvious crease on the wallpaper along the edge of the skirting board with scissors.
10. Gently lift the lower end of the wallpaper, cut it along the crease, then stick it back and brush it flat. The trimming steps at the top of the wallpaper are the same.
Paste the remaining wallpaper.
1. Follow the steps of pasting the first wallpaper, and paste the second wallpaper on the right side of the first one without hanging the plumb line. However, the edge several feet long in the upper left corner should be aligned with the edge where the wallpaper is pasted. Wipe the upper right corner by hand and stick the upper part of the wallpaper on the wall.
2. Scrape the wallpaper with a brush, and scrape the wallpaper from the center to all sides.
3. Uncover the folded part of the lower part of the wallpaper, align the edge with the edge of the pasted wallpaper, and brush it flat with a brush. Trim the top and bottom of the wallpaper as described above.
4. After pasting two or three sheets, gently roll each flat-fell seam with a seam pressing roller, but the embossed wallpaper cannot be rolled.
