At that time, there were not many sophisticated watches, and there were even fewer suppliers of parts. In order to reduce the cost, many bad parts were repaired by myself. Now share with you the operation process of filling teeth! !

(Figure 2): First of all, the prerequisite is the preparation of tools. My habit is to make my own tools when I can, and it is handy to use. Saw blade: I use a scalpel to thin the saw blade body to prevent the gap from being too large in the later stage of sawing. Then grind the knife edge into a serrated gap on the edge of the oilstone to reduce the operation time.

(Figure 3): Clamp the other end of the gear with the handle, and pay attention to the orientation of the clamp, so as not to damage the gear teeth and deform the blades. Choose the one with better quality and stronger compactness.

(Figure 4): Use a ground saw, put a magnifying glass, and cut back and forth the part next to the bad tooth and the good tooth with light force. You can choose a straight line or a splayed line when sawing.

(Figure 5): After sawing, next, start to punch holes and polish them with steel nails. One end of the steel nail has a cap, which is more convenient and safer to use! At the other end, I ground it very finely, and ground the tip very smoothly, and the width is not greater than the width of the sawed middle wheel. It's better to be narrower, but it's too sharp. Its purpose is to punch the center wheel. . . Firstly, the gear is annealed to make it flexible, because many gear materials are mixed metals, which are relatively broken and easily broken by external forces! ! ! Then tap it slowly from the inside out, so that the inside of the blade becomes thinner and wider, and the length extends outward. Suggestion: Make the inner side as thin as possible (don't break it) and keep the outer side thick, because the stress point of each blade is at the tip of the blade. . . When the blade length is greater than or equal to other gear teeth, the stamping process of blade is almost completed!

(Figure 6): After the wheel is stamped, put the whole wheel on the iron pier and level it. Apply a proper amount of low melting point solder to the stamping wheel. Slowly, grasp the temperature and distance on the alcohol lamp and let the solder melt. Its purpose is to connect the whole wheel and fill the concave thin wheel!

(Figure 7): After the solder dissolves, we will use a thin and fast blade to shovel off the excess solder (after the solder burns, the gear will be hardened by fire), and it is best to put it on the iron pier, which is convenient, smooth and prevents deformation.

(Figure 8): After the surplus solder on both sides of the blade is treated, the number of teeth and pitch are divided with a self-made saw blade. You must wear a magnifying glass to ensure that the saw is stable!

(fig. 9. Figure 10), this is my homemade file, which is ground into a thin file with assorted files. One side has no file marks, and the other side has file marks. Open the teeth like this, put a magnifying glass and gently grind the teeth (provided that the diameter of the tooth circle is ground first). Grasping the thickness and depth of the teeth is the key, so as to prevent the gear from being uneven in the transmission process.
