① Long couplets: Generally speaking, couplets with three or more sentences in the upper and lower couplets can be called long couplets. Some long couplets have fewer words, and some works are great. The "sentence" mentioned here refers to a clause or clause. This "sentence" has many words. There are at least eight words and two short sentences on each side to be a long couplet; Otherwise it is short.
② Long couplet is the result of the development of long and short sentences.
The ancients generally thought that words within fifty-eight characters were rhymes, words from fifty-nine to ninety were alto, and words above ninety-one were long sounds.
(4) As for the standard of short couplets, Mr. Changjiang thinks that fewer words is a sign, but the main sign is that there is no need to break sentences. Short couplets are mainly composed of five or seven words, generally less than fourteen words.
⑤ Because sentences cannot be broken, some short couplets can reach nine words and eighteen characters, or even cross twenty. The shortest short couplet needs two words and four words, and the old man can reach ten words and twenty crosses.
⑥ Couplets between long couplets and short couplets are called "long sentences" and "multi-word couplets".
