Can I be a stewardess with O-legs?

It may not be eliminated, but it will fail the physical examination. You can go straight through. It's really hateful to let an O-leg ruin your dream. Because the flight attendant experience has requirements for physical health, it is very serious.

First of all, you must know what kind of legs you are.

Normal leg type: It is the most standard leg type. The legs are in contact with the inside of the knees, and the front looks straight.

X leg: the knees can be close together, but the calves and feet can't be close together.

O-leg: the feet can be close together, but the knees, calves and even thighs can't be close together, which is medically called "genu varus".

XO legs: toes and heels can be close together, thighs can be close together, and calves can't be close together.

Pathological causes of O-leg

The causes of O-legs can be divided into two types. One is pathological genu varus (congenital), which is often called bone bending. It is mostly caused by heredity and difficult to change through exercise. The other is caused by bad posture (acquired, most people belong to this category), such as: walking splayed feet, standing relaxed, wearing high heels for a long time, sitting on a plate, kneeling, squatting and so on. These incorrect postures will give the knee joint outward strength and pull the lateral collateral ligament of the knee joint, resulting in long-term relaxation of the lateral collateral ligament of the knee joint. When the lateral collateral ligament is relaxed, the excessive force of the medial collateral ligament will pull the calf and tibia to rotate inward, forming genu varus, that is, O-shaped leg.

It can be seen that it is a misunderstanding to think that genu varus is a bent bone. Except pathological genu varus, most of them are caused by incorrect walking posture, standing posture and sitting posture.
