In order to better implement the spirit of "Guide to Learning and Development for Children Aged 3-6", a kindergarten-based course featuring children's basketball was set up in our park. Basketball in kindergarten is not only for basketball games, but also for promoting children's physical development and health. On the basis of following the basic rules of adult basketball, children's basketball is a form of children's sports that simplifies basketball technology and theory according to children's age characteristics and physical development level.
Basketball is children's favorite ball toy. You can often hear the sound of billiards in kindergarten, but it is also a sport with certain control difficulty. To this end, our park organized a teaching and research activity "How to guide children to learn basketball dribbling skills" to discuss the mystery of children's basketball with children.
During the activity, Mr. Liu explained the theoretical knowledge of basketball dribbling to the teachers, and the teachers also took notes carefully.
Teacher Liu showed the teachers the essentials of dribbling. Dribble refers to the ball that the player holding the ball presses the racket continuously with one hand in the same place or in progress.
0 1 hands?
Action essentials: press the ball with both hands at the same time or alternately.
Beat the ball alternately with both hands.
Action essentials: Bend your knees slightly, lean forward slightly, look forward, and hit the ball with your right hand to the upper right to make the ball bounce to the left; The left hand slaps the ball to the upper left to make it bounce to the left.
03. Curve dribbling in travel
Action essentials: the right-handed racket dribbles the ball forward according to the second half of the ball. When approaching an obstacle, the racket ball changes direction from the upper right to the left, so that the ball bounces from the right side of the body to the left side, the right foot quickly moves forward to the left side, the upper body turns left, and the left hand presses the upper back of the ball instead.
04. Pass the ball with your hands on your chest.
"Pass" action essentials: forefinger and middle finger pluck the ball hard and pass it out. After putting the ball, your hands are slightly everted.
Main points of "receiving" action: two thumbs form a figure of eight and two hands form a semicircle. When your fingers touch the ball, your elbows bend to absorb the power of the buffer ball, and your hands hold the ball between your chest and abdomen to form a basic standing posture.
05. Hit the ball with both hands.
Action essentials: The hitting position of the ball should generally be two-thirds of the distance between the passer and the receiver, and the bouncing height should generally be in the receiver's abdomen.
Early childhood practice
After teaching and research, teachers are more familiar with the essentials of basketball dribbling. Next, let's take a look at the dribbling style of children!
Through this basketball teaching and research activity, teachers have learned more basketball dribbling skills, so that children can also learn more basketball moves. Let each unique individual explore, feel and experience in the basketball game, and let the children move forward along their own development track. Basketball is like a spark, which will light up the children's way forward.
