Gypsum carving technology and tools

1. Introduce the use, specification and safe use of tools such as flat knives and inclined knives.

2. Watch and analyze the decomposed teaching aid diagram, and get a preliminary understanding of the basic steps of plasterboard grinding, printing, carving and shoveling.

3. Let the students try to practice and discuss the operation essentials. In practice, problems and operational difficulties are found. Demonstrate the decomposition action with a physical projector, and explain the technical essentials, especially the teaching difficulties in implementing "shovel". Through operation training, guide students to master basic skills step by step.

Key steps:

Carving: Hold the knife vertically, walk slowly, use less force, and pay attention to smooth lines.

Shovel: Flat-edged knives should be leveled, and the depth of each shovel should be uniform. It is not allowed to stay in a local shovel, otherwise the bottom will be uneven.

Sculpture: it is to carve natural texture patterns on a flat floor. When carving, the strength of the knife should be uniform and the movement should be smooth.
