Jinshajiang Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Mansion is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.
Jinshajing, a place name in Nanjing, is an east-west street adjacent to Confucius Temple. "Jiangning County Records" records that during the Ming Dynasty, there was a drought in Nanjing and the river dried up. Residents dig wells to get water here. I didn't expect there was sand in the well, and there were glittering gold particles in the sand. Therefore, this well was named Jinsha well, from which the place name came.
According to historical records, No.36 Jinshajing was originally the former residence of Wang Shiduo, a famous scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. After the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom made Nanjing its capital, it built an official residence on the ruins of the king, which is now an ancient building more than 400 years ago. An ancient house, old blue brick, entered through the gate of the concave eight-character niche and walked slowly through the hall. You can see the beam engraved with the grass roll pattern and the groove head with the crested dragon beast. The patterns on it are lifelike. From front to back, through the four-story bungalow, an ancient two-story building jumped into view. With the passage of time, these ancient houses in front of reporters have now become important physical materials for studying the revolution of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.
