Lin Daiyu's predecessor is crimson pearl fairy grass, and Jia Baoyu's predecessor is stone (that is, waiter). A dream of red mansions for the first time, "Zhen dream psychic, dusty pregnant with a good family", there is such a description:
On the banks of Sanshengshi River in the west, there is a crimson pearl grass, and sometimes there is a waiter in the red palace, who irrigates it with dew every day. The crimson LYSIMACHIA began to prolong the years. Later, it was nourished by the essence of heaven and earth, and it was nourished by rain and dew, so it was necessary to take off the grass and become human. It's just a female corpse. She swims around all day to stay away from hatred. When she is hungry, she eats honey and olives as food. When she is thirsty, she drinks seawater as soup. So these five days have a lingering feeling. Recently, the waiter in Shen Ying was obsessed with everything and took this opportunity to live a rich and peaceful life. He wanted to create a magical destiny in the world. He has already signed up before the case of the police magic fairy. The police illusion also requires that the irrigation is not returned and can be reconciled. Fairy crimson pearl said,' He is the grace of dew, and I have no water to pay back. He is from another world.
This explains the origin of the "wood-stone alliance".
The so-called "golden marriage" between Baoyu and Baochai is a tailor-made marriage between a monk and a lame man for Jia Baoyu, which represents the "born" spirit that the author should affirm and carry forward in the book! In this regard, a very obvious example is that the monks and the lame in the book have completely different attitudes towards firewood and Dai. According to the novel, both Chai and Dai suffered from "nameless diseases" when they were young, and whatever medicine they took around the world was ineffective. At this time, another monk appeared and offered to treat this strange disease for them. However, it was the same monk who prescribed the treatment plan for Baochai and Daiyu, but it was very different: for Daiyu, he asked her to become a monk and warned, "I'm afraid he is terminally ill." You should be well, unless you are not allowed to cry anymore from now on, except your parents, all people with relatives and friends with other surnames can't see it, so that you can be stable in your life. "(see chapter 3)-obviously shows a strong distrust of Daiyu's future feelings and marriage. Such a treatment plan was naturally rejected by the Daiyu family. Moreover, the monk's words are also considered as so-called "madness" and "nonsense". For Baochai, monk steamed bread didn't put forward such strict requirements for becoming a monk or being imprisoned at all. On the contrary, he took the initiative to point out the object for Baochai's future marriage: he not only gave Baochai a real sea fairy-Lengxiang Pill, but also provided Baochai with a so-called eight-character auspicious wish, asking her to "be sure to immerse herself in gold" (see the first paragraph-this also clearly shows her warm expectations for her future feelings and marriage. In fact, Baochai's family accepted the monk's advice almost completely. We can see Baochai has been eating cold fragrant pills and wearing a golden lock until she enters the Grand View Garden! -one is that she must become a monk from an early age, otherwise she will never see relatives and friends with other surnames, and she will be stable in this life, otherwise her illness will not be cured for the rest of her life. One is "born strong, it doesn't matter" (the seventh time, monk language). Not only does it not need to avoid relatives and friends with foreign names, but the monk with foreign names also took the initiative to designate her future marriage partner among relatives and friends with foreign names. Chai and Dai's illness and the monk's attitude towards them are so completely opposite. Then, what is the "inclination" between Cao Xueqin's so-called "alliance of wood and stone" and the so-called "marriage of gold and jade"? Which is the author's deep remorse and which is the author's sincere recognition? I think, even those readers who are insensitive, it is not difficult to see some doorways. Speaking of the author's "tendentiousness", in the past, those forest theorists often liked to catch one and shout one curse in Baoyu's dream on the 36th (that is, how to believe the words of monks and Taoists? What is a good marriage, I prefer to say that it is a good marriage between wood and stone "), let's talk about it. They are very eager to prove that the author's "inclination" lies in "helping the forest", that is, the so-called "inner wood and stones are outside the golden jade" is also true. However, if we really want to scrutinize it carefully, the so-called "arguments" mentioned above will inevitably backfire. I'm afraid the argument he quoted just proves the author's "inclination", not in "helping the forest" but in "helping the hairpin", that is, the so-called "golden jade is inside, wood and stone are outside". In other words, the author's attitude towards Daiyu and her "pre-alliance of wood and stone" seems to be positive but restrained, while the attitude towards Baochai and her "marriage of good jade" seems to be negative but positive! First of all, the so-called "how to believe what monks and Taoists say", but who are the "monks and Taoists"? Aren't they the embodiment of the author himself? In the third time of the novel, Daiyu said that the monk was "crazy and said these unintentional words", but Zhi Yanzhai immediately criticized "crazy" and "unintentional words": "Pay attention to the writer!" Imagine that if this "monk and Taoist" is not Cao Xueqin's own spiritual incarnation, how can their words and deeds, which are "crazy" and focus on "talking nonsense", "justify themselves"? Moreover, since the monk's "crazy talk" and "nonsense" are "writers pay attention to themselves", can "the monk's words" be credible? We can see that the monk called "Monk and Taoist" in the novel is the most important link between past lives and present lives, dreamland and reality in the book.
