Starting the needle
Note: When starting the needle, the thread end (wool head) should be reserved three times the length of the finished size. For example: the starting needle/foot is ten inches wide, then Thirty inches of length should be reserved at the end of the thread for starting the needle.
- Can be knitted into "plain knitting/plain knitting stitching method", "elastic stitching method - 1 mesh elastic knitting stitching method", "elastic stitching method - 2 mesh elastic knitting stitching method" and "Multi-row elastic stitching (bag knitting) 1 mesh/2 mesh elastic knitting stitching".
** Generally speaking, the pictures say to use two stick needles to start the needle. In fact, you can also use one. The double-needle needle eye is larger, which makes it easier for beginners to knit the first row. When you become proficient, you can adjust the strength of the needle with your hand gestures. You can also use one needle to lift the needle.
