Laozi: Look at the world coldly, and life will be very calm! Laozi's eight wisdom is worth pondering!

If Confucianism is the wisdom of doing things, Taoism is the philosophy of cultivating the mind; Confucianism is full of expectations for life, while Taoism is full of doubts about life; Confucianism talks and laughs; Taoism sneers again and again; Confucianism says that the struggle of life is meaningful, while Taoism says that the meaning of life lies in meaninglessness. Confucianism says that knowing what you can't do is a valuable life, while Taoism says that knowing what you can't do is a wise life. Confucian life is addition, Taoist life is subtraction; Confucianism is as warm as the red sunshine in the sky at sunrise; Taoism is like a frozen moon, reflecting the cold in Qian Shan.

China culture is so wonderful, one cold and one hot, one entering and one retreating, one song and one sneer. Two kinds of wisdom, like ice and fire in the same furnace, constitute two kinds of background colors of China culture. In the hearts of China people, Confucius and Laozi are always sitting. When life is proud, learn from Confucius, cultivate one's morality and govern the country, and strive to sing and fight on the stage of life; When life is frustrated, learn from Laozi's quietism of abstinence, watch the soul in the smoke of the five lakes and enjoy yourself. In a word, without Confucianism and Taoism, China people will not become China people, because Confucianism and Taoism have become a totem in China people's hearts.

According to Laozi's Taoist wisdom, life is singing in loneliness, the loneliness that everyone is drunk and I wake up alone, and the silence of the bright moon in Huainan and Qian Shan. Compared with the wisdom of Confucius, the wisdom of Taoism can hit our soft hearts more in the eyes of modern people who are hesitant about the surface scenery. Because, in this vacant era, the distance you see is the distance you can't reach. Only by looking deep in your heart can you find the direction of your soul. Confucianism is doing things, while Taoism is training the heart. Everything in the universe, life ups and downs, everything comes from Tao, and humanity is the heart. If the heart is big, things will be small; If the heart is small, the matter is big. Happiness depends on your heart.

1. He who is satisfied is happy. Humans are the most greedy animals, so humans are also the most painful animals. God regards us as the master of all things, but also gives us the most fatal weakness, that is, desire. Therefore, people's pain comes from discontent. Laozi deeply realized this, and he said, "Those who are satisfied are always happy, and those who are satisfied are happy." . A true wise man is the best rider of the soul, because he can ride the wild horse of desire. Pain comes from desire, happiness comes from satisfaction, and real satisfaction is not material desire, but spiritual self-sufficiency. If people can reduce their material desires a little, their spiritual wealth will increase a little, and between one plus and one minus, they will get great happiness in life. Those who are satisfied know that they have a clear conscience and a free and unfettered soul, just like a calm river in summer evening, "crossing the river without a boat". If life is not a boat floating in the wind, isn't poetic beauty the joy of life?

2. Greed leads to chaos. Laozi said: "Learning is not refined, but Tao is not refined." . Laozi advocates the life of subtraction. If the needs and desires are reduced, the happiness of life will be more; Life is less utilitarian and more poetic; There is less world of mortals and more peace of mind; Take less and get more. Laozi said that people's greed will bring confusion to people. The more greedy, the more loss. So many times, "what is lost is gained, and what is gained is lost." Abandon some worldly troubles, leave an open clear sky, take a bath for your soul, and then sleep. Dreams are sweet and happy. Most people who can let go are smart people. "From then on, happiness, no one can keep it, wealth and arrogance, and self-blame." Laozi's words still inspire us and give us endless thoughts.

3. Let go when it's time to let go. In Zhi Zhi, life is precious. Laozi said: "Being satisfied is not humiliating, being satisfied is not dangerous and can last for a long time." Life should not only learn to be content, but also learn to be Zhi Zhi. Laozi advocates a life attitude of sizing up the situation and rushing headlong into it. Don't wait until you run out of strength and tricks, and then leave in a daze, which will only bring loneliness, loss and even shame. Because Laozi told us that prosperity will decline, and the monthly surplus will lose. Life is a parabola. If you are at the top of Zhi Zhi, you can avoid the despair of falling. The Book of Changes says that 99 is not a lucky number, because it has developed to a fixed point, and the next step will be the pain of falling into the abyss. Therefore, Lao Tzu said, "Retire after success and learn from heaven", which is the highest state of Zhi Zhi.

4. Aggressiveness will kill you. Life needs sharp edges, otherwise no one will know your value and existence, but too sharp edges, like the cold light of a sword, will hurt yourself and others. As a philosophy of doing nothing and pursuing the subtraction of Tao's loss, Lao Tzu advocates hiding the front and hiding the sharp, and not being aggressive, because you will die in the end. Therefore, the ancients said that the outer circle and the inner side are the great wisdom of being a man. To be an upright Fang Zhengzhi person, one should have a selfless heart and a vast world, while the appearance should be round and unsmooth, and treat people with "the wind blows the willow cold" instead of "the high wind blows in August", sweeping away the three layers of hair on the roof of others. Hidden front hidden sharp, is to leave some room for people, let you and others' life trajectory from the path to the road.

A little confused, no one will say it's stupid. The trouble in life is that you are too clever. Too smart will be seen through, too smart will miss a lifetime. Laozi said: "The smartest person is also stupid, and the smartest person is also clumsy." Smart people have always been a person who pays attention to the big and puts down the small. They are a little confused, let nature take its course and really pay attention to the big things. Being a little confused is also a tolerant attitude. Relax to others and be nervous to yourself. This is the wisdom of life. So Zheng Banqiao said "it's hard to be confused". If you understand the muddled philosophy of China people, you will understand the lifestyle of China people.

6. Two ears and one mouth, listen more and talk less in life. People always have unlimited desires to express themselves, but the evils of life begin with expressing desires, because "illness comes from the mouth and disaster comes from the mouth." There is a proverb in the west that a wise man's mouth is in his heart and a fool's heart is in his mouth. Whether you are smart or stupid depends on whether you have a big mouth. Zeng Guofan said in his letter home that there are two factors in life, one is pride, and the other is verbosity. Talking too much is boring, and talking too much will cause trouble. Confucius also said, "A gentleman talks but doesn't do it". Life lies not in what you say, but in what you do. Therefore, Lao Tzu said, "It is better to keep the center than to talk too much and count too few." People with two ears, one mouth and two legs tell us to listen more, do more, walk more and see more, and talk less.

7. People should learn judo. Taoism is a philosophy of birth, a philosophy of subtraction, and advocates both rigidity and softness. Lao Tzu said that everything that is strong is in a state of death. People are sad when they die, and so are trees. Anything soft can last for a long time. Water is the softest thing in the world, but it is also the hardest thing, so Lao Tzu said that goodness is like water. Therefore, we should learn a little judo in our life, treat people and things like spring breeze, and let people sit in the spring breeze, so that all the most difficult things in the world can be "no matter how hard the steel is, it will become soft fingers"

8. Know yourself. The hardest thing for a person is to know himself. In ancient Greece, there was a wise motto "Know yourself". What Lao Tzu said is more wise. He said, "He who knows others is wise, and he who knows himself is wise." You should know what you really want, so that you can stop, do what you want, advance and retreat, and be calm.
