The first and fifth roots of faith
Elder Jing Hui said, "To practice, we must first build confidence. Believers are identification, which can generate a sense of belonging, and identification with Buddhist practice can help us to extricate ourselves and prove nirvana. Our troubles, like a heavy burden on our bodies, wrap around our bodies and minds like lassos, making us not free and uncomfortable. The ultimate goal of learning Buddhism is to get rid of troubles. The moment to get rid of troubles is to prove nirvana. "
The second root and the fifth root
Take root, make progress, and practice Buddhism, without any miscellaneous. Once you have established your confidence, you should keep practicing hard. This is progress. Diligent people enter, refined people are not miscellaneous, and those who enter do not retreat. "Under the guidance of pure distractions, strive to the exact direction of practice. Just believing and not doing it is like not believing. I believe that we must do it and make unremitting efforts.
The Third and Fifth Roots of Thought
Read, never forget, read here. Just like the method of training breathing during meditation, we should persist in training here, never relax for a moment, and enjoy it, so as to achieve the ultimate goal. Read it and write it down in Buddhism. The reader concentrates and stays focused, which is determined by his thoughts.
Rooting of the fourth and fifth roots
Regarding the settlement, Elder Jinghui said, "Settlement is also called the silence of saints. All those who gain the Tao are famous saints, and the saints are always constant, that is, silence. Silence is not noisy, talkative, ridiculous, or relaxed. "
"Through the power of reading to achieve unity, unity is the condition, silence is the performance. Relaxation of body and mind is a big obstacle to meditation, so you must stop talking during the seventh meditation, that is, keep silent, be diligent in Taoism, and your kung fu will not be disturbed. Although we have to do something during the seventh meditation, we should always maintain the state of "practicing meditation and sitting quietly". "
Fifth, rootless wisdom roots.
As we all know, when we usually talk about abstinence from wisdom, Elder Jinghui said, "Wisdom comes from determination. Wisdom means that we can understand the direction, method and necessity of practice, observe physical and mental pain with wisdom, and guide us to relieve physical and mental pain with wisdom. "
