There are several legends about Dai Li's death.
1. Chiang Kai-shek murdered Dai Li.

After Dai Li's death, Chiang Kai-shek did not cancel the military secret service, but renamed the Bureau of Investigation and Statistics of the Kuomintang Military Commission as the Secrecy Bureau.
In September, Mahan San and Liu Yuzhu were secretly executed in Nanking. Intriguingly, the charge of execution is not murder, but corruption.
2. Murdered by American agents
1945, after Japan surrendered, the Office of Strategic Services of the United States learned that Dai Li was going to massacre all China people who had cooperated with Japan in the past. Everyone in the intelligence agency thinks that this will be a meaningless bloodshed, and this stupid massacre must stop.
After receiving the information that Dai Li would spend the night in Qingdao and fly to Shanghai the next day, the Office of Strategic Services quickly instructed the US agents in Qingdao to secretly tamper with the fuse of the barometer of the Dai Li special plane.
However, to this day, the mysterious air crash over Nanjing 60 years ago is still an unsolved case, and the mystery of the death of a generation of murderer Dai Li still has no accurate answer.
