Yuhuangmiao Village is located on the west side of Yuhuangmiao, which is named after Yuhuangmiao. Legend has it that a long time ago, there were two small villages in the northwest corner of the village, one called "Qiaojiaan" and the other called "Qujiazhuang". It turns out that the Jade Emperor Temple was not built in its present position, but in Dongzhaojiazhuang, 3 kilometers east of the village. However, when going to Gao Milla Statue, when passing through the north of the village, the carriage couldn't walk because the road was too far. Later, when two mules and horses were brought back to the village, they still couldn't pull, so they had to temporarily put the statue here. The ancients believed in superstition and thought that the Jade Emperor was optimistic about this place, so the Jade Emperor Temple was built here.
After the completion of the Great Temple, residents of Qiaojiaan and Qujiazhuang successively demolished their houses and went to the west of the Great Temple to rebuild their villages. The newly-built village was renamed "Jade Emperor Temple" because it is close to the Jade Emperor Temple. According to statistics, since the establishment of Yuhuangmiao Village, 32 cadres at or above the deputy company level have emerged, including 2 teachers. There are nearly 100 college students with bachelor degree or above, five of whom have been admitted to Peking University and Tsinghua successively.
