Qijia culture in ancient history

The pottery of Qijia culture is mainly yellow pottery, with engraved patterns and often rope patterns. From the grain marks found on the surface of millet and pottery, it can be seen that the farming weaving stage has developed, and the cultivation of millet is considered to be influenced by Yangshao culture. In addition, the discovery of a large number of animal bones shows that animal domestication is more important in Qijia culture. Copper is mainly used for decoration, but bronze wares have appeared, including copper-tin alloy (bronze) wares. The graveyard of Qijia culture is in the village. Most tombs are single, but there are also adult men and women buried together. In the joint burial, men stand upright and women curl up, and most tombs are buried with stone tools and pottery. In addition, stone buildings similar to religious buildings were found on the ground.
