Safe operation procedures and matters needing attention of gas boiler

1, boiler ignition

Check operation and/or handover records. Patrol and check the inside and outside of the boiler. Check the main safety accessories. Safety valve, water level gauge and pressure gauge shall be strict, reliable and sensitive. Check the water treatment equipment. Check water supply equipment and steam-water system pipes. Each valve is adjusted according to the start-up requirements. Check the oil supply equipment. After passing the above inspection, the boiler can be started.

2, start the boiler

Observe the water level in the water level gauge. If the water level rises or falls, check whether the opening and closing positions of the water supply valve and the drain valve are correct or leaking. When the pressure rises to 1 kg gauge pressure, flush the water level gauge. When the pressure rises to 2kg gauge pressure, flush the pressure gauge trap.

When the pressure rises to 3kg gauge pressure, check whether there is any leakage at the joint of the pressed parts, and tighten the loosened screws again. To prevent the screw from breaking, do not use excessive force, and do not tighten the screw by lengthening the handle. When the pressure rises to 4 kg gauge pressure, the sewage should be discharged once to balance the water temperature in all parts of the boiler.

3. Stop the furnace normally

Before the boiler stops completely, a high water level should be maintained to prevent water shortage caused by water level drop during cooling.

Matters needing attention in ignition of gas boiler

1. cleaning: open the oven door, remove the rear shell plate and unscrew the screw of the cleaning port at the rear side of the boiler. Clean the gas pipeline with a wire brush. Clean the combustion chamber with a soft brush, remove the residue in the boiler, screw on the screw of the cleaning port, close the burner door, and check whether the sealing ring is complete.

2. Freezing: If the boiler is installed in an area where the temperature is lower than 0℃, the following protective measures must be taken: If the boiler room is outdoors, the indoor temperature should be reduced to 15℃ or 18℃ to make the boiler run all day. If the room is empty for a long time, you should drain the water from the boiler.

3. Cathodic protection: Each part of the boiler is made of different materials (such as cast iron, copper, aluminum, etc.). ). In order to prevent electrochemical corrosion, cathodic protection measures must be taken.

4. Blowdown: Blowdown at the bottom of gas-fired boiler can prevent flue gas condensation. Flue gas condensation is due to the low temperature of flue gas (diesel or natural gas) because it contains moisture. Combustion 1kg diesel oil production 1.04kg water. Part of this water is discharged from the chimney, part of it is absorbed by the chimney wall, and the rest is deposited at the bottom of the chimney. The amount of water produced is affected by the following factors: flue gas temperature (the efficiency reaches 9 1%, and the flue gas temperature needs to reach 170℃), the material of the chimney and the insulation of the chimney.

5. Maintenance of burner: The maintenance of gas boiler and burner should be carried out after the heating period, not at the beginning of the heating period. Because the combustion products will corrode the boiler and clean up the carbon deposit, they are not allowed to stay in the boiler for too long.
