If you can't "i.e." get it, the two cannot be transformed. "Bodhi" means enlightenment, and the life of enlightenment is the life of Bodhi and the life of Buddhism.
Life Zen is to get rid of worries. This method has four sentences: First, implement faith into life. Only when ideals and beliefs are implemented into life can they be fully realized. Second, implement your practice in the present moment. Troubles are Bodhi, and troubles must be solved immediately. "That is" is an equal sign, but this equal sign is not easy to draw. It requires practitioners to immediately solve their troubles and achieve Bodhi. Third, integrate Buddhism into the world. The Sixth Patriarch Huineng once said: "Buddhism is in the world, and it is not separated from the world. Seeking Bodhi after leaving the world is just like asking for a rabbit's horn." If this cannot be done, Buddhism will always exist only in the Sutra Pavilion, and Buddhism will never be realized. Fourth, melt the individual into the public. This is easy to say, but difficult to do. People always take the lead personally. But if everyone leaves the public, not only will they achieve nothing, but they may not even be able to save their own lives. One tree cannot become a forest; many lush trees gathered together form a lush forest.
"Practice in life, live in practice" is the way to learn all Buddhism and all dharma in the world.

There are eight words: faith, cause and effect, conscience, and morality. How to do things? There are also eight words: gratitude, tolerance, sharing, and friendship. The reason why a flower can bloom brightly is the achievement of the entire universe, so we must face the entire world with a grateful heart; At the same time, the reason why the world is so colorful is that flowers of different colors exist in the world at the same time. Only with tolerance can the world show beautiful colors. All achievements of a person are not personal. They must be shared with the public, return to the public, and repay the public with a sharing mentality. Regarding forming a predestined relationship, Elder Jinghui said that people in this world often achieve success in their careers, and "predestined relationships" There is no more. Such a mentality is unacceptable. We must achieve destiny with the intention of career, and achieve career with the intention of forming affinity. Master Jinghui concluded that these are the two eight-character principles for life and work that I advocate. The principles of life Zen are contained in these principles.

In fact, before Buddhism, not only was everyone equal, but all sentient beings were equal, so everyone was eligible to become a monk, no matter what. Rich and poor, noble and humble, wise and foolish, saints and mortals, Buddhism accommodates all. So it is very easy to become a monk. However, bribery is just based on basic equality, and does not mean acceptance without discrimination. Otherwise, Buddhism will become a trash can harboring filth and evil! Therefore, the prerequisite for learning Buddhism (not becoming a monk) is to come. Those who do not take the precepts by their own name are not allowed to take the precepts; those who are unwilling to call the monks by their names are not allowed to take the precepts; those who teach people to beg for precepts but do not beg for precepts are not allowed to take the precepts; those who wear layman's clothing and decorations are not allowed to take the precepts. Just as it is said in Baiyi Karma: "The upright person becomes a monk, and the pure person becomes a monk (receives the great precepts)."

If you have a teacher or a monk to forcibly teach you, you are not allowed to take the precepts. You can only accept the precepts as a novice. No one is allowed to become a monk if he is too young or too old. The Sangha Rule says, "If you are seven years younger or older than seven years old, you should not become a monk." If you are over seventy, you will be able to do anything. If you are less than seventy, you will not be able to do anything. You will have to sit down and stand up, and you will not be allowed to become a monk. If you are over seventy, you will be healthy and able to practice various karma, you will be allowed to become a monk."
It can be seen that no one under the age of seven or over seventy is allowed to become a monk. Before the age of twenty and after the age of sixty, although they are allowed to become a monk, they are not allowed to receive the monk's ordination. The younger one is the novice monk, the older one is the old novice monk. He will eventually become a great bhikkhu, but an old novice will never receive the great ordination. The requirements for these conditions are all set by Buddhism. However, some Buddhists are limited to talking about it on paper. Because of this, no wonder most people think that monks are the best to do.
If it is required to be more in line with the requirements of the Buddhist system, in modern times, ordinators certainly use careful criteria to select disciples who become monks; You must submit a health examination form and undergo an in-person oral examination before deciding whether to ordain. Otherwise, the conditions mentioned are not conditions at all, but a false pretense.
The key is your understanding. If you feel that becoming a monk is the best choice in life, and only by taking this path can your life be meaningful. Having this concept is the most basic condition for choosing to become a monk. If you haven't formed this understanding yet, don't become a monk yet. In addition, the relationship at home must be handled well. It is said in Buddhist scriptures that if parents do not listen, they cannot leave home. But this is not a principle. In history, there were many eminent monks and virtuous men, such as the old monk Xuyun, who became a monk even though they did not seek the consent of their parents. There are many such situations in real life, because many parents do not understand Buddhism at all, and it is simply impossible to get them to agree to become a monk. Therefore, some people run away regardless of whether their parents agree or not, and there are many such cases.
If you are married, of course you must divorce before becoming a monk. In terms of age, the precepts stipulate that you cannot become a monk under the age of 7, and you cannot become a monk over the age of 60, because at that age you cannot even take care of basic life on your own, and you have to be supported by others. Therefore, you cannot become a monk if you do not have the ability to live independently, and you cannot let others take care of you after becoming a monk. There are also other conditions. For example, if you hold a more important party or government position, you must resign before you can become a monk; if you owe a debt, you must pay off the debt before you can become a monk; there are also other conditions, such as intersex people cannot become a monk. , those who have committed serious crimes such as destroying other people's holy lives, stealing their homes, etc. cannot become a monk.
