Although the author thinks he is as small as dust, Loulan is the world of dust, expressing the author's deep love for Loulan. The ultimate intention of lyrics lies in beauty and decline. Everything now is just a moment in the future, and people should relax everything now.
Loulan legend
Legend has it that there was a very beautiful princess in Loulan at that time. Dissatisfied with her father's arrangement, she escaped with several followers. Outside Loulan is a desert, and the princess is lost in the desert. Then she met a young man who was dying. The princess asked the servant to give him water to drink, and slowly his body recovered.
This young man is none other than a prince in nearby Baiji City. In order to thank the princess for saving her life, the prince invited her to go back to Baiji City with him. Thinking that she had nowhere to go, the princess agreed with the prince.
At first, their life in Baijicheng was very stable and their feelings became deeper and deeper. However, at this time, I realized that Baiji City had taken in Princess Loulan. Afraid of Loulan's revenge, the king of Baiji City coaxed the princess out of the city while the prince was away. The princess out of town has nowhere to go, wandering in the desert like a headless fly.
When the prince came home and didn't see the princess, he knew that something had happened. He went out looking for food and water and finally found the princess when he was exhausted. The princess saw him, but she couldn't get any closer to him. The prince spent his whole life trying to climb to the princess's side, gently stroking her face, and a tear fell from the corner of his eye. They snuggled together and watched the last sunset in their lives. They were buried in the Kumutage desert today.
