Vast Moon and Worm II?

The first time I heard of "Bug II" was probably in the middle and late 1980s. Every night, I catch up with the cross talk "The Battle of the Golden Temple" on TV, which is about Gan Long, Liu Yong and Xiao Shenyang. Crosstalk is a long stand-up comedy, which was said by Mr. Liu Baorui's apprentice Yin Wenshuo. Crosstalk with the same theme, Liu Baorui's stand-up cross talk "The Argument between the monarch and the minister", and many plots in the later TV series "Prime Minister Liu" and "Iron Teeth and Copper Teeth" all came from these two cross talks.

In The Battle of Wisdom in the Golden Temple, it is said that the three of them visited the Hundred Single and Eight Scenes of Yuanmingyuan and saw the wind and a memorial archway on the side of the Square Pot Scenic Area poking in front of the second floor of the moon, with the word "Worm II" written on it. Ganlong doesn't understand. After 60 steps, he thought it was "romantic" and told Liu Yong and Xiao Shenyang. Hearing this, Liu Yong said that he had already figured it out and wrote the words "boundless romance" on the memorial archway. Qianlong didn't believe it, and walked back sixty steps, so he saw the ink in Liu Yong's book was not dry. This message says, "Liu Yong's knowledge is sixty steps bigger than that of Qianlong."

Of course, you can't be sure about the anecdotes in cross talk. But after all, there are traces to be found, at least knowing that "Insect II" is related to Qianlong.

Later, I went to Hangzhou West Lake to play. There is a stone tablet in the pavilion in the middle of the lake, which is the "second worm" of Ganlong calligraphy. The lake pavilion is in the West Lake. The first name is Lu Zhenting, also known as Qingxi Pavilion. It was founded in the thirty-first year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1552), and it was only called Hu Xinge in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. This pavilion was rebuilt in 1953, with two eaves and four sides on the first floor and a golden glazed tile roof. The ancients said, "I don't intend to swim back a hundred miles, and the lonely pavilion is in the water cloud sword." Stop on all sides, the city is surrounded by mountains on three sides. This is the scenery of the pavilion in the lake, and "overlooking the lake" is one of the eighteen sights of the ancient West Lake. According to legend, when Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River and visited the pavilion in the middle of the lake at night, he was attracted by the beautiful scenery and wrote down the word "Insect II", which means "boundless wind and moon". These two characters are taken from the middle part of the traditional Chinese character "Yue Feng", and the frame is removed to become "Bug II".

There is another clue in the cross talk. There is also a stone carving of "Insect II" on Mount Tai. I saw it when I went to Mount Tai later. This stone carving is located in the west of Panlu, on the north side of Wanxian Building in Taishan. Liu Tinggui, a gifted scholar in the 25th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty, inscribed it as one of the 72 scenic spots of Mount Tai. Liu Tinggui, nicknamed "Liu Twelve", won this title because he was a scholar at the age of twelve. According to legend, when Liu Tinggui invited friends from Hangzhou to climb Mount Tai, he talked about the boundless romantic pavilion of Hangzhou West Lake. Liu Tinggui was inspired and immediately wrote down the word "Worm II" and said to his friends: Although there is no boundless romantic pavilion here, it means boundless romantic pavilion. It is said that at that time, Liu Tinggui wanted to write a book named "The Moon and the Breeze" directly, but he had written it before when he was in Jiangnan. Because of taboo, he had a brainwave and wrote the title of Insect II. This statement contradicts the West Lake statement and the "Insect II" monument in the pavilion in the middle of the lake, indicating that the legend is inaccurate. In the scenic spot, you always have to make up some stories that are beneficial to your family. In fact, many of them are bluffing, just like the history in Beijing opera. Don't believe them. There are dozens of calligraphy stone carvings left by Liu Tinggui in Taishan Mountain, with good handwriting. Insect II is the best of these stone carvings.

However, this is far from solving the problem of the origin of "Insect II". Later, I read the notes of unofficial history and Qing people in the Qing Dynasty. From the Collection of Jianxuan obtained by Chu people, I can see that it cited the trivia of Jianxuan: Tang Bohu wrote a prostitute Xiang Ying Pingyun: "The wind and the moon are boundless". Everyone praises you. When Zhu Zhishan saw it, he said, "This is mocking your generation as ants." When Xiang asked about its meaning, Shan Zhi said, "The wind and the moon are boundless, and it is not an ant." Xiang Ying finally felt that beauty was not easy. However, the Chu people are not sure whether Tang Bohu will win the prize, and their bet is to make "Know One Episode" a thousand beaches. "Japanese dream pavilion set half note and half poem in the rain pavilion essays, have the same record.

There is a cloud in Zhang Dai's "Kuaiyuan Road Ancient" Volume 12 "Xiaohui Department, Riddle, Spelling": "Insect II", and it means "boundless love" for prostitutes. In addition, there is a saying in the Qing Dynasty's "Pieces of Foreign Affairs": The more people, the easier it is to talk. For example, a cloud swims by the West Lake in Xu Tianchi, with the title "Insect Parallel II", which is called "The Boundless Moon". Both Xu Wenchang and Xu Tianchi in these two articles are talking about Xu Wei. Tang Bohu was born in 1470 and died in1523; Xu Wei was born in 152 1 and died in 1593. Thus, Tang Bohu's Insect II was earlier than Xu Wei's.

Earlier, it was said that it was related to Li Bai. On the third floor of Yueyang Tower in Hunan Province, the East and West are linked, and the East is a short eight-character couplet: "Water and sky are the same color; Romantic boundless ",inscribed as" Chang ". In the book "The Victory of Baling" published by Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House 1985, a story is told. There are three faintly visible handwriting on the wooden wall on the third floor of Yueyang Tower: 1. Insect, 2. People have never understood its meaning. Later, when Li Bai visited Yueyang Tower, he saw that it was a crossword puzzle couplet, that is, "water and sky are the same color, and the moon is boundless", and immediately wrote this couplet. This matter is still a legend, with obvious traces. However, it is true that Li Bai has been to Yueyang Tower, as evidenced by Li Bai's own poems. Li Bai has a poem "Climbing Yueyang Tower in Twelve Summers", in which he said: Yueyang Tower is full of views, and the Sichuan hole is open. It breaks my heart to see geese flying south, and the distant mountains are in the title of a good month. On the upper floor of the sky, stay in the chair and upload a glass of wine from the sky. The cool breeze rising after drunkenness, blowing the sleeves with the wind, we will return.

Even if the couplet was really written by Li Bai, who left the word "Worm II" on the wooden wall before?

Romance is boundless, romance is boundless, and the clue of "Insect II" is really endless and unclear. But for a person like me who likes reading and doesn't want to know too much, knowing this is enough. Some time ago, I saw a photo in a forum, saying that an ancient village in Shenzhen also had a plaque of "Insect II". It can be seen that the romance is really endless. If you have the opportunity to see this "Bug II" nearby, you should go on a field trip.
