Zhucheng is a regional central city in Shandong Peninsula, one of the top 100 counties and cities in the country in terms of county economy and basic competitiveness, a national comprehensive experimental zone for new urbanization, a coastal open city and an important transportation hub in Shandong Peninsula. Zhucheng city is located in Zhucheng basin of Ludong fault block, and the Mu Yi fault zone passes through the west side of the city.
In February of 20 18, it was selected as one of the top counties in China 100, the top 30 best county-level cities in China, the top 100 counties in China's business environment in 20 19, and the second batch of counties (districts) that reached the standard in water-saving society construction. In May 2020, it was selected into the demonstration list of new urbanization construction in the county. 202 1, 10 was selected into the list of "Top Smart Cities in China 100" in June.
geologic feature
Most strata are missing, and the lithology is mainly sandstone, shale and conglomerate. Qingshan Formation contains pyroclastic rocks. The structure in this area is complex, mainly including fold structure and fault structure. Magmatic rocks are widely distributed in Zhucheng area, Archean-paleomagmatism is not well developed, and intrusive rocks are generally small.
Mesozoic magmatism was intense, forming a large area of volcanic rocks and various intrusive rocks. Mesozoic intrusive rocks developed in China are concentrated in Taolin crater south of Haogezhuang fault and its vicinity. Mesozoic intrusive rocks in China only developed in the late Yanshan period. According to the sequence of activities, compared with adjacent areas, it can be divided into early Aishan intrusive rocks and late Laoshan intrusive rocks.
