Where is the Erwang Temple?

It is located on the hillside on the right bank of Minjiang River, with Dujiangyan in front and Cuifeng spiritual practice behind it, which is close to the mountains and waters. Temples and buildings are distributed orderly from bottom to top. The ancients called it "Yuji Xiandu".

The Erwang Temple was originally a memorial temple for the King of Shu, but it was later renamed "Chongde Temple" because Qi Jianwu dedicated Li Bing and his son. After the Song Dynasty, Li Bing and his son were crowned kings by the emperor one after another, so people later called it the "Two Kings Temple".

The statues of Li Bing and his son in Li Bingtang and Erlangtang were rebuilt in the 1960s.

The most striking thing in the temple is the summary of more than 2000 years' experience of Dujiangyan water control project, which mainly includes the six-character formula of "deep scouring beach and low weir", the eight-character motto of "cutting corners when encountering bends, drawing the heart sutra when encountering the right" and the 60-character "three-character sutra" for water control.
