Who can learn Tao!
Author: Some people in Long Zaitian asked incredulously, "Is it that simple? As long as you have confidence? No other conditions are needed? " I smiled and said, "Is it simple? But it seems difficult to do it. " They will continue to learn this, not to say that they need fate? Don't you need understanding? Don't you require good conduct and high knowledge? Didn't you ask to respect your teacher? Isn't it required to practice hard? Isn't it required to have certain financial resources and environment? I thought you asked for support for master, and so on. I said, as long as you can really channel, other things are not a problem, the difficulty lies in a letter. Nothing in the world is as difficult as believing! Some people will disagree, think it is not easy, if I don't believe it, will I want to learn? Please remember, I'm talking about faith. Only when you have great faith can you have great sincerity. Faith-is the foundation of learning Taoism and formal revision of the law. Whether you can come to study or not is related to your own motivation. Anyone who has this desire can come to study. If you have a wish, it is fate, and you are afraid that you will not make this wish. I am afraid that my heart is not big and my vows are not deep. I think the Buddhist saying "faith, wish and action" is very good, and it can even be used to distinguish the staff sergeant, sergeant and corporal in the Tao Te Ching. When the Taoist classification mentioned the differences between these three types of people, they did not deliberately mention how their roots were, whether their horoscope was good or not, and how their family background was. It's just that the staff sergeant heard that he was diligent and Xi Zhi, and the sergeant heard that if he survived, the corporal heard a laugh. From here, it is enough to see that the difference lies in an attitude, in the word "faith", that is, the difference between believing, half-believing and not believing. This is completely consistent with what Buddhists say about "faith, will and action". After the staff sergeant got the dharma, he immediately began to practice without thinking, and he practiced hard. Because his faith and willingness have long been sufficient, but he has not heard of the Dharma, so he has been caught in the pursuit of waiting. Having such a quick reaction after hearing the Tao is enough to show that his roots are extraordinary, he has both good fortune and good fortune, and he belongs to a man with moral immortal roots. As for the sergeant, he is still hesitating. Although he has confidence, he is not strong in heart and willing to prepare, but he is not strong enough. In practice, he can't be brave and diligent, take one step at a time and see three steps, stop and go, and he may be tired of vulgar feelings and give up practicing halfway. Therefore, the sergeant's practice is easy to breed the heart of retreat, which leads to the heavy evil influence on the road of practice. This is all because he is not determined, he is not convinced of the channel, and he changes his mind for a while. He is happy for a moment and tired of lasting. How can such a person succeed even if he gets the real formula? It is not uncommon for people who are good at learning in the world, and it is rare for those who seek to meet the true teacher to preach the Dharma. That is why there is a saying that "those who seek the Tao are like a dime a dozen, and those who succeed in it are like rabbit horns". As for the corporal, he doesn't even have the most basic credibility, let alone make a wish and act. He not only doesn't believe it, but also laughs at it. Daozu said it very well-if you don't laugh, you can't think of it. Basically, there are three kinds of people who come to learn Taoism, and the criteria for distinguishing them are simple. Everything, what roots, what understanding, eight characters, origin and so on, finally fell on this "letter" As for the other conditions, I think they are all secondary. As long as you have this "letter", are you afraid that these will not be satisfied? There is a good saying-the world does not belong to the rich, nor to the powerful, but to the willing. Everything can be created or transformed as long as you have the heart. Some people feel that their bones are poor, their family is poor, and so on, so they feel sorry for themselves. But how many bones are good? Many people with rich families don't believe in the road or believe in it, but they refuse to practice. I used to know a woman who had a good root instrument. Since she was a child, Taoist immortals followed her and taught Dharma in her dreams from time to time, and she could also see it. She also has some eye skills and predictive ability. Because she is unwilling to practice, she often uses these abilities and falls ill. She values family life and career more than anything else, and no one can persuade her. I really feel sorry for her. So, if the heart is not on the Tao, what if it has a fairy bone? Just like the young man in the mythical novel The Wizard of Oz in the Qing Dynasty, who was as warm as jade and as cold as ice and saw that he had a fairy bone, he wanted to admire him, but he didn't believe it at first, but even if he did, he was addicted to lust several times and didn't want to leave a few good women behind. Later, in the dreamland, he still couldn't help looking for his former woman. So that although he has a fairy bone, he is much worse than Liancheng Wall, a thief. Among the disciples who are colder than ice, the highest achievement is not human, but a monkey. Although he is heterogeneous, his mind is unusually calm. What if the person is rare? What about fairy roots and bones? If you can't settle down to penance, you might as well be a different kind. I think this is what the author wants to tell us: practice can't be half-hearted and changeable! People who truly believe, are willing to practice and practice hard are naturally people with origins and roots, either Penglai Xiandao visitors or Lingshan Fa Hui people. Looking up, we can see that most of the people are strong beings, and people with this belief are rare. What a pity! In short, as long as you have the word "faith", believe in the Tao, the Dharma and the Master, you can come to practice. This word is missing from most people's hearts. Corporal with shallow roots and poor understanding naturally don't believe these things. Even a sergeant who believes without doing or doing little is not really believed. Master used to say that there are ten powers of the mind, and only when all these ten powers are perfected can we really cultivate the mind, and one of the most basic powers is faith. Without faith, everything behind is out of the question. It's a pity that most people are lack of faith, which leads to lack of willingness, let alone sincerity, concentration, mana and so on. For the sake of some benefits, the world is often good at calculating, with a flexible mind and a lot of eyes. It is not easy to believe in everything, for fear of being fooled, spending money and wasting time, so it is not willing to work hard, make every effort, lack letters and sincerity. How can we learn the Tao? So, people ask me who can come to learn Taoism. I said that as long as you truly believe in the Tao and get close to the Taoist scriptures, then everyone can come to learn. The difference between them is the depth of belief, the size of vows and whether they are brave and diligent in cultivation. As for saying that the roots are not as good as others, or that family members are opposed to cultivation and their families are poor, this is an objective reality and an obstacle to practice. We acknowledge the existence of this difference. But we should not be discouraged, on the contrary, we should work hard to make progress. Sincerely to the Tao, unswerving, full of confidence, and never shake your faith. Don't care whether your eight characters are suitable for learning this, whether your roots are good or not, no matter what others say, even ridicule and abuse, and don't care if you have no fate. Anyway, you are bent on learning, determined to learn, and you don't want me to learn, and you don't want to learn the Tao. As long as you have this spirit, ghosts and gods will be moved by it, and heaven and earth will turn pale. How can a true teacher be unhappy? It is understandable that many people want to seek Tao, but they are not confident enough. After all, the staff sergeant is always a minority, and most of them are lower-middle class. It is impossible to ask them to have such high confidence, so they can only build confidence slowly. Then, what kind of heart should you have to live in the world besides cultivating your confidence in learning Taoism before you really learn from the teacher? I think, with the heart of faith, I naturally make a wish to stay away from all things, put everything down slowly, not be tired of alcohol and wealth, and abandon greed and love. We must be respectful, sincere, and sincere to get close to classic works, to get close to people with a way, to strengthen our beliefs step by step, to strive for success, even if we really can't learn, understand and regret in this life. If there is such an intention, it is natural to have a real person to take the lead, and if there is no chance, it will become a fate. It is a pity that although people now come to seek the Tao and the Dharma, most of them are not firm-minded and insincere, and they regard themselves too high, and they don't know how to respect the teacher. The habit of being high and slow is revealed. I don't know etiquette, I refuse to bow my head, and my heart is high. When I open my mouth, I need someone to preach. If I want it for three days, I don't have a word of "beg". If I don't give it, my face will change color, and a few words of belly condescension are not bad. What's more, I swear. They don't understand that Tao is humbly asked, not bossed around. To tell the truth, I've seen many people with this kind of "main road". If they don't get out immediately, they think they have no chance. This is actually the road to seek the Tao by themselves. In history, those ancestors, whether Buddhist or Taoist, have had smooth sailing on the road to seeking the Dharma, and which one has not experienced many hardships? Why do people have to promise you and accept you as soon as you ask for the Dharma? You are the reincarnation of the son of the Jade Emperor? Or nine days Xuan Nv's daughter reborn? Do you have that big foundation? People who give up so easily, even if they were predestined friends, will become doomed. This kind of person is still polite, and many people even scold him directly. I thought to myself, if such people can preach, it can only be a magic way and an evil way. Think about the story of how Zhang Liang asked Huang Shigong for Tao in those days, and you will know the truth that you can seek Tao with an open mind. It's a pity that people are impetuous and perverse now, where there is sincerity and modesty, and there is only an impetuous air in their chests. It's a pity that the fate is not deep, and they don't want to accumulate virtue at ordinary times. They worry about food, clothing, housing and transportation all day, like to fight in the world, be competitive, be greedy and stupid, be prepared for everything, and occasionally get a little side tricks, be complacent and self-sufficient. Such people, even if they have a superior person to give advice, can't pull him back, refuse to be taught modestly, refuse to seek the law sincerely for life events, and like to get it. Isn't it funny? This kind of person is not seeking happiness, but seeking disaster. Therefore, sometimes it's really not the Tao that is negative for people, but the people who are negative for the Tao. Some people complain in front of me that they have longed for the avenue for a long time, but they just look around and can't find a good master. Speaking of it, it's quite wronged. Looking at the situation, I think it's these masters who have wronged them and failed their sincerity. I think such people take themselves too seriously and feel too good about themselves. Since ancient times, then avenue has not been unique in the world, just afraid to spread it lightly. If the inheritors of some sects are not found, the inheritors of this sect will always wander around the world, even for hundreds of years to find successors, and only later generations can leave. For example, Zhengyangzi preached in Lv Chunyang, and Chunyang preached the law to Liu Haichan and Wang Zhongyang, and it was hundreds of years before he was granted it. Therefore, the preacher is extremely cautious, that is, he is worried about the inhumanity. In those days, Ziyang real people preached inhumanity three times, so that they were condemned by God three times, which shows the great harm of false preaching. I think those who complain that they can't find Master should reflect on themselves more, and don't take themselves too seriously. It's not that Master refuses to preach the Dharma, but it's not light to preach it. If you really believe in the avenue and sincerely seek the Tao, which true teacher doesn't like it? People who believe can learn Tao. Everything depends on your own heart. Look at your own faith, willingness and sincerity. You don't need to ask me, just ask your own heart. If you have great efforts, you will have a chance to win the road, live a long life, understand the mystery of life and death, and understand the mystery of life. If you have only five points or three points, you can only learn some methods of preserving health, prolonging life and getting rid of diseases, and you can change your health and exorcise evil spirits. If you have only one or two points, you can simply go to the temple twice and burn incense and worship, so you don't have to talk about practice, otherwise you will be deceiving your heart. In short, the deeper the belief, the more sincere it will be and the greater the motivation for practice. Otherwise, it's useless to talk about repairing the road every day and get up early in the morning to practice without perseverance. What do you think?
