Summary of UNESCO's work

Focusing on the overall goal of "based on educational research and building a famous school", this semester, the education department insisted on Scientific Outlook on Development, took the new round of national basic curriculum reform as an opportunity, vigorously carried out teaching research, strived to improve teachers' scientific research literacy, strengthened the management of continuing education, and strived to build a learning group. Under the care and guidance of the school leaders, with the help and support of the teaching and research group and the preparation group, we successfully completed the work tasks according to the work plan, and our school won the honorary title of "Eleventh Five-Year Education and Scientific Research Experimental School" in Shiyan City. In all kinds of "five excellent" evaluations, teachers won 65 awards, including 4 national awards. The work of this semester is summarized as follows:

First, attach importance to teaching research and promote teaching.

The department takes the lead in arranging biweekly lectures and class preparation activities with the teaching and research group as the unit, and the biweekly research activities of the teaching and research group are still an important part of the monthly evaluation. This semester, in order to further implement the teaching and research routine, the education department requires every teacher to sign in for teaching and research activities. Each group arranges an activity implementer to check and record the lectures, class evaluation and collective lesson preparation once a month, linking teachers' participation in teaching and research activities with monthly allowances and bonuses. At the same time, the one-vote veto system for teaching and research activities is implemented. Any teaching and research group, lesson preparation group or individual teacher who does not perform routine teaching and research or has temporary work shall not participate in the selection of advanced collective or individual teaching and research. Teaching and scientific research should be systematic, planned and implemented. Solid and orderly routine teaching and research work has improved the efficiency of classroom teaching and the quality of education and teaching in our school.

In order to promote the professional development of teachers, build a team of high-quality teachers, and further enhance the ability of teachers in our school to teach and educate people, this semester has launched the first quality class competition for middle-aged and elderly people and the "Red Flag Master" selection activity. After careful organization and scientific evaluation, four young teachers, Fan Bin, Yu Ling, Chen Guoli and Yan Wen, stood out and became the "Red Flag Masters" selected by our school for the fourth time. Teachers such as Zhu Yanqing and Sun Tao were rated as "students-oriented classroom experts" and "courseware making experts" respectively. Teachers such as Deng Minhui, Sheng Jianzhong, Zhang Saining, Wu and Tian Jifeng won the Excellence Award in the middle-aged and elderly quality class competition with advanced teaching concepts and methods and efficient classroom effect. At present, through a series of activities, the quality of teaching and scientific research of teachers in our school has been greatly improved.

Second, take the topic as the carrier to improve teachers' scientific research literacy.

In order to improve teachers' scientific research literacy and ensure the implementation of scientific research, our school continues to implement the scientific research responsibility system in the semester, and the leader of the teaching and research group is the first person responsible for scientific research. The research work of each teaching and research group must adhere to the "four ones", that is, a special meeting is held at the beginning of each semester to determine the research plan; Hold a seminar once a month; Report the Monthly Report of Project Research and related research materials to the Education Department every month; At the end of each semester, a project summary meeting will be held to summarize and collect data in time. The education department has set up special files for the topics being studied, one file for each topic, and checked and supervised the progress and effect of the research every month; In all stages of project declaration, project research and project acceptance, UNESCO has organized evaluation teams and hired experts to give timely guidance to the project research, so as to ensure the smooth development of the experiment and achieve early results. Divide the research tasks into groups and individuals, and explore the teaching mode of "learning before teaching and training in class" to realize "effective classroom" activities. The school actively organizes teachers to participate in the practice of curriculum reform, and strives to develop excellent teaching designs, courseware, classroom records and other scientific research achievements. Through the above efforts, the scientific research literacy of teachers in our school has been improved to a certain extent.

This semester, Shiyan municipal project "Research on improving students' writing ability in Chinese activities" and "Research on inquiry teaching of junior high school mathematics" have been concluded. At present, there are 6 teaching and research projects in our school, and 7 projects are under study. The research scope of the project involves Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, politics, history, moral education and many other aspects. The number of teachers who participated in the research reached 85, which was 8 1% more than that of full-time teachers. Teaching and research activities were generally valued by teachers. Great achievements have been made in teaching and scientific research. This semester, 53 teachers in our school won the "Five Excellent" evaluation, and students taught by teachers such as Zhu Yanqing, Sun Tao and Li Junsheng won the first prize in the 24th Shiyan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition.

Third, strengthen continuing education and train first-class teachers.

Continuing education involves every teacher. This semester, with the goal of building a "learning school", we earnestly implemented the requirements of the third round of continuing education, and carefully arranged and implemented centralized training such as advanced information technology training, Putonghua training and new curriculum induction training. At the same time, combined with the reality of our school, we focused on the following school-based training.

1. Actively organize and guide teachers to learn online. Improve the theoretical level of teacher professionalization.

The third round of teachers' continuing education focuses on learning, which is unified into online learning. The study area has expanded, the knowledge has increased, and the teacher's study has become more convenient. For the notices and requirements of teachers' centralized training issued by education departments at all levels, the teaching department first actively learns and understands the spirit, and then conveys it to teachers in a timely and accurate manner, and strictly urges and guides teachers to learn online. Through the above efforts, the whole school teachers successfully logged in within the specified time. And actively and orderly set off a new round of online learning climax, teachers in the professional theoretical level, at the same time, computer operation skills have also improved as a whole.

2. Promote the "three-type ten ring" training mode and implement school-based training.

(1) Strengthen publicity and clarify the objectives. In order to help each teacher establish his own development model and direction, our department organized the study of the "three-type ten ring" training model; Make a menu of school-based training courses for teachers to choose from; The textbook "Strategies and Methods to Improve the Quality of Education and Teaching" was issued, requiring each teacher to make a self-study plan according to his own development direction. (2) Strengthen daily management and implement the task of continuing education. Continue to take the road of integration of research and training. Taking the lesson preparation group as a unit, teachers must participate in collective lesson preparation and evaluation twice a month, and write an educational narrative or teaching reflection every month. Continue to adhere to the combination of self-study and collective learning, and organize teachers to study in preparation groups in addition to the guidance of principals and expert lectures. All teachers who participate in training and learning activities must take notes in the Teacher Development Report Book as the basis for continuing education, check it once a month, and include it in the monthly assessment. The development of these works has prompted every teacher to care about his continuing teaching credits, changed "I want to learn" into "I want to learn", and promoted the formation of the "four self" management model of school-based training.

3. Carry out the activity of "Teachers' Ethics Education Month" to create a good image of teachers' ethics.

According to the unified arrangement of the Municipal Education Bureau, our school has carried out activities with the theme of "love and dedication". First of all, seriously organize teachers in the whole school to carry out activities to learn teachers' morality, and thoroughly study the Teachers Law, the Professional Ethics Code for Primary and Secondary School Teachers and the Law on the Protection of Minors. Then take the lesson preparation group as a unit, carefully analyze the problems existing in teachers' morality, and discuss "how to be a teacher satisfied with the people" in connection with the reality. Please write your own experiences. In accordance with the "five prohibitions" and "ten advocates and ten objections" of teachers' morality required by the Education Bureau, we will conscientiously carry out self-examination and self-correction activities. The monthly report system of teachers' morality is implemented, and all grade groups report to the school every month to prevent and rectify any bad signs in time. An extensive survey was conducted among students and parents on teachers' morality and style. According to the survey results, each teacher's portrait is graded, teachers with excellent ethics are commended, and teachers who violate their ethics are informed criticism. The evaluation results shall be publicized and recorded in teachers' personal moral files. At the same time, we also organize students' seminars and conduct questionnaires from time to time to find out the problems of teachers' morality and correct them in time. Through these activities, the unhealthy phenomena such as corporal punishment, disguised corporal punishment, arbitrary charges and disorderly classes in our school have been effectively curbed.

4. Build a platform, increase rewards and punishments, and promote the growth of teachers.

The school strongly supports teachers to go out for training and study. Our school sends people to attend various training, study and exchange meetings notified by superiors, and asks teachers who go out to study to write a study report, give an observation class and communicate in groups, so as to achieve the goal of training the whole group by one person.

Fourth, actively create a good atmosphere of "learning Mandarin and writing standardized words"

In order to conscientiously implement the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on National Common Language and Characters, adhere to the policy of "promotion, popularization and improvement", actively create a good atmosphere of "learning Putonghua and writing standardized characters", and effectively improve the awareness of all teachers and students on the standardization of language and characters, the teaching department successfully held a poetry recitation with the theme of "love and dedication", with the participation of all teachers and students, and once again set off a wave of learning to speak Putonghua.

Summarizing the work done in this semester, although there are many clues and basically completed the task, it is still far from the requirements of the school and the requirements of the times for teachers, especially the development of school-based curriculum for the new curriculum reform and the application for the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" project needs to be strengthened. In the future work, we will closely focus on the overall goal of running a school, enhance our sense of service, and play a greater role in teaching, scientific research and school-based training.
