Young man, do you still believe in Buddhism?

Recently, a word inexplicably popular on the Internet is "Buddhism".

Therefore, a Japanese Zen master is called a real Buddhist singer: on the dazzling stage, beside the fiery rock band, and in the attention of the crowd, Yakutski Kuanbang sings new Buddhist scriptures.

Once, a friend came to my house as a guest. At that time, my carefully collected Buddhist music was playing on the stereo. My friend is very surprised and wants to know how I can listen to this kind of music. I deeply feel that Buddhism, as one of the five major religions in China, has been gradually forgotten by young people.

Although I am not a complete Buddhist, I believe in Buddhism. My environment has also influenced me: my mother is a qualified believer and my grandmother is very devout. Although I have a vague impression of her, I vaguely remember that in her later years, worship, chanting and blessing were almost everything to her.

There is no doubt that Buddhism has its profound side. In "The Old Road and White Clouds", the young prince of Wei, Capillo, went through hardships, including ideological struggle and doubt, as well as physical suffering and torture, and finally had an epiphany under the bodhi tree and finally became a Buddha. He devoted his life to preaching and dispelling doubts, expressing his profound understanding with simple sentences, freeing and enlightening the suffering people, and his audience spread all over the world.

The seemingly inscrutable Buddhism often inspires us with the simplest and most powerful words.

Although the popular word "Buddha nature" has a playful meaning, it seems to me that it is also the true meaning of Buddhism to some extent.

Buddha does not require you to go through physical and mental hardships or experiences, but more often emphasizes the power of epiphany; Simple and powerful words such as "becoming a Buddha on the spot" and "turning back to the shore" make us feel the inclusiveness of the Buddha.

Some people think that Buddha's nature is not enterprising enough, paying attention to the point and stopping, and focusing on harmony. This is just a big misunderstanding of Buddha's nature. The Buddha talked about people suffering from worldly desires. What Buddhism wants us to do is how to face up to our own desires and how to grasp the degree of this "desire". But in this range, the Buddha told us to be "diligent". Diligence is the strength of the Buddha when he meditates under the bodhi tree.

With the increasing richness of material life, especially the popularity of mobile Internet, people's lives are full of all kinds of things, and impetuousness seems to be a common living habit of contemporary people. Foreign media even said that our people lack faith, alas!

China has been up and down for five thousand years, and its ideological and cultural fields are magnificent and dazzling. In Buddhism, we have Dharma, the first ancestor, Xuanzang, and the sixth famous ancestor overseas, Huineng ... but culture needs to be handed down from generation to generation. You can not believe in Buddhism or even religion, but we must believe in something.

I believe in Buddhism, not only because of its normal mind, but also because of its diligence.

The Buddha does not ask us to convert, but only wants us to be happy.
