It is far-fetched to link "origin" and "karma" with TCM disease prevention. Neijing put forward the idea of preventing diseases, and the basic content of Neijing was completed in the pre-Qin period. Buddhism was introduced into China from South Asia in the middle and late Han Dynasty. Karma and origin both come from South Asia. It was not until The Sutra of Three Kingdoms and The Sutra of Vimalakīrti in the Southern and Northern Dynasties were translated into Chinese that they gradually spread in China. There are great differences in time and space between the two. Personally, I don't think it is necessary to link them forcibly.
Laozi's theory of "reinforcing deficiency by excess loss" and the theory of "reinforcing deficiency by excess diarrhea" in Neijing coincide in time and space, and are definitely directly related. They all emphasize that the symbol of heaven and earth should be balanced between yin and yang.
