1929, 20-year-old Qian Zhongshu applied for the Foreign Languages Department of Tsinghua University and was admitted to Tsinghua with excellent Chinese and English. After entering the school, he got good grades, read widely and became famous on campus. He has published many articles in Tsinghua Weekly and is a famous genius in Tsinghua.
The common ideal and goal brought Jiang Yang and Qian Zhongshu together in the campus of Tsinghua in the spring of 1932, and it was Tsinghua who brought them the red silk of the elderly under the moon.
They also have a common hobby: they both like the Tsinghua University Library very much. When they were studying in Tsinghua, Qian Zhongshu left a magnificent sentence: "Sweeping Tsinghua Library".

Many years ago, Tsinghua University Library set up two teacher training racks, Qian Zhongshu and Jiang Yang, in the reading room. The special shelf has collected more than 200 volumes of various monographs, anthologies and novels of the two masters, which are deeply loved by teachers and students.
In the stacks on the second floor of Tsinghua University Old Library, several original desks used by readers during the Republic of China have been well preserved.
The desk number used by Mr. Jiang Yang was 2 12. The librarian finally found the nearest desk 2 16 after some efforts. After more than 80 years, this desk has gone through vicissitudes and stood quietly in the stacks ... On the wall above the desk, there is a small photo of Mr. Jiang Yang in the stacks.
On 20 12, Mr. Jiang Yang donated Qian Zhongshu's manuscript notes to the library of his alma mater. 20 16 years, which coincides with the anniversary of Tsinghua University 105. She also donated the newly published Notes on Qian Zhongshu's Manuscript to her alma mater, expressing her sincere heart to her alma mater.
