At the same time, in the Taoist canon, there is an article about the golden elixir method "Xishu Jade Tripod Immortal Nine Transformations of the Great Return of the Elixir", which should be the source of this method, hence its name.

The six gates refer to the collective name of the three law offices. The only entrance and exit to the entire Yamen exterior wall is the gate located directly south of the central axis. This gate is also called the "head gate". It is not a simple doorway, but a building with a roof. This kind of house-style gate is a major feature of Chinese architecture, and its shape is strictly restricted by laws and etiquette.
No matter how big the state or county, the gate can only be three bays (the bay on the front of the building, the horizontal space between the two pillars is one bay). Each room is equipped with two black painted doors, with a total of six doors, so state and county government offices are often commonly known as "six doors". As the proverb goes, "The yamen is open with eight characters, so don't come in if you have reason or money."
