Mencius said: "The Yang family is for me, which is the absence of a king; the Mo family's love for everyone is the absence of a father. Without a king and a father, it is a beast."
2. Confucius Said: "Rotten wood cannot be carved, and a wall of dung cannot be made flat."
3. Villain.
For example, "The villain grows up with relatives" ("Shu Er"), "The beauty of a gentleman is not the evil of a man, but the villain is" ("Yan Yuan"), "Severe in appearance but soft in heart, for example "All villains are like thieves who have penetrated the nest" ("Yang Huo"), "Every villain's fault must be punished" ("Zi Zhang").

Confucius cursed Guan Zhong because he did not save taxes from the people and placed wine glasses in the hall like a king entertaining foreign kings (this is transgression): "Guan Zhong's utensils are too small!" ( "Eight Hundreds")
5. A person who fights with bamboo.
Once Zigong asked what kind of people can be called "scholars", Confucius replied that there are three types of people who can be called scholars. Finally, Zigong asked whether those who were in power at that time were considered scholars, and Confucius sighed. : "Hey! How can a person who fights with bamboos count?" ("Zilu") The original meaning of a bamboo basket is a measuring tool, but here it also refers to measurement and narrow knowledge. Confucius believed that those in power could not be regarded as scholars.
6. Thief.
Once, his old friend Yuan Rang sat on the ground with his legs spread like a figure horoscope, waiting for Confucius to arrive. When Confucius saw Yuan Rang's virtuous behavior, he flew into a rage and scolded him: "When you are young, you are not a grandson; when you are old, you are not able to describe yourself; when you are old, you are not dead; you are a thief." Finally, he hit Yuan Rang on the calf with a cane ("Xian Wen" 》). If you don't understand etiquette when you are young, you will make no contribution when you grow up, and if you eat for free when you are old, you will be harmful to others throughout your life. "Being old but not dying" is indeed an abomination. Another time, Confucius didn't know what kind of stimulation he received, and he suddenly lamented that "the countryside is the thief of virtue" ("Yang Huo"). The so-called Xiangyuan is a good gentleman who has no right or wrong and no principles.
