Yuanjing Village is located in the west of Hefeng County. The village committee is 30 kilometers away from Hefeng County, 0 kilometers away from the town government 10, with an altitude of 1.200 meters. Belonging to two high mountains, the landform is flat and patchwork. It is adjacent to Bazishan Village in the east, Shangyangpo Village in the south, Tangjiawan Village in the west and Hongyanping Village in the west. It borders Zhongying Village in the north.

There are four villagers' groups in the village, with a total of 160 farmers and a total population of 598. Tujia and Miao nationalities account for 85% of the total population.
