How to see the depth of a person's good roots

The good root mentioned in Prajna Sutra is also a good book and a book of virtue. That is the root of all good laws. A monk's knowledge of goodness and good roots means that he has achieved what he saw, gained what he saw right, gained what he learned from Buddhism and entered Buddhism. No greed, no anger and no delusion are the body of good roots, which are collectively called the three good roots. The root of unhealthy is greed, anger, ignorance and so on. , that is, three unhealthy, or three poisons. Good dharma is the root of good fruit, so it can also be called good root.

When he explained the three good roots in Amitabha's Theory of Different Feet, he said: "Good roots are not greedy, which means that in the realm of five desires, there is no greed, no love and no joy. This non-greedy law is good, which can be the foundation of infinite good law, hence the name "no greedy good root"; Second, there is no anger and good roots, which means that all sentient beings are not angry and do not want to be annoyed. This kind of law without anger is good and can be the root of infinite good law, hence the name "the root of good without anger"; Third, ignorance of good roots means that all laws are well understood, that is, knowing that good laws are evil laws, knowing that guilty laws are innocent laws, and knowing that laws should be implemented and should not be implemented. This kind of ignorance is good and can be the basis of infinite good law, hence the name "ignorance is good root." "

A good root is a person's learning ambition. Only with the ambition to learn can the realm of volunteers be born. The purpose of learning is to pass on wisdom, which is the middle way of learning ambition. Uber Sai Jie said, "Seek great wisdom, hence the name Bodhisattva".

Learning volunteers are divided into three categories: determination, desire and willingness, and the degree of deviation of goals from the mean is different. All learning volunteers can produce an open-minded realm of wisdom.

If a person loses the will to learn, he will do bad things, so he is called a good root.
