Target: Primary school students!
Method: Education!
Purpose: To develop good study habits!
First of all, clarify its psychological characteristics. 1) Primary school students gradually develop from a general and imprecise perception of the whole of things to a more precise perception of the parts of things, and can discover the main characteristics of things and the interrelationships between the parts of things. Their perception gradually develops from unintentional and emotional to intentional and purposeful. As they grow older, their ability to think and understand continues to improve, and their ability to memorize abstract words and memorize their meanings will continue to improve.
2) The imagination of primary school students gradually develops from one-sided and vague to a complete and correct direction. The imagination of lower grade primary school students is characterized by imitation and simple reproduction. As they grow older and reach middle and higher grades, they will become less and less dependent on specific images, and their creative imagination begins to develop.
3) Although lower grade primary school students can initially control their emotions, they are still often unstable. As they grow older and reach senior grades, their emotions become more stable, their need for self-respect and the hope of gaining respect from others becomes increasingly strong, and their moral emotions also begin to develop.
4) The emotions of primary school students are easy to be impulsive and often change with changes in the situation. Performances such as "breaking tears into laughter" are often seen. Self-control ability has developed compared with that of early childhood, but it is still relatively poor. It is particularly susceptible to the influence and suggestion of others, which leads to unconscious imitative behavior.
Teachers and parents should understand the psychological activity characteristics and psychological development patterns of primary school students, and it is our bounden duty to provide them with correct guidance and effective education.
Secondly: Parents should focus on helping their children develop the following aspects:
1. Listening habits.
In primary school education, teachers talk a lot, and they are very specific and detailed. This requires primary school students to first pass the "listening test". We can make a small calculation: from elementary school to high school, if there are 6 classes a day for 12 years, excluding holidays, we will have to attend at least more than 20,000 classes in 12 years. It can be said that the central link in students' learning process is listening to lectures. If you get distracted in class and don't pay attention, the consequences can be imagined. Therefore, parents must educate their children about "listening to lectures" so that they can fully understand the importance of "listening to lectures" and develop the good habit of listening carefully.
2. Speaking habits.
As early as the 1950s, Chinese educationist Duan Lipei advocated students to "read, discuss and practice", and finally implemented the "eight-character teaching method" of "talking". Parents should pay attention to the cultivation of their children's "speaking" ability. At home, you should create more opportunities for your children to talk. Not only should you encourage your children to speak more and express more, it is also best to set up a fixed and specific time for communicating with your children. Never refuse your child, especially when your child wants to talk to you. No matter how busy the adult is, you must stop what you are doing and listen carefully to your child. This is also one of the positive and effective measures to encourage children to "talk".
3. Reading habits.
The "reading" emphasized here mainly refers to "reading books". Today's children spend too much time watching TV, which must be limited; at the same time, draw the children's attention to books. A survey was conducted on the literacy status of first-year freshmen in a primary school. The smallest student knew more than 300 Chinese characters. Parents should guide their children to read books by themselves. In addition to normal preview and review of textbooks, they should also expand their children's reading scope. Choose some illustrated books that are suitable for children’s age and psychological characteristics, such as fairy tales, science illustrated magazines, etc. It not only improves children's reading and comprehension skills, but also indirectly cultivates their interest in learning.
4. Doing habits.
Although schools are now trying to reduce the academic burden of primary and secondary school students, moderate homework is necessary. Through homework, you can understand and check your learning results in time, deepen your understanding and memory of knowledge, and develop certain skills and techniques. Therefore, parents should ask their children to complete their homework strictly within the specified time. Don’t develop the bad habit of watching TV, listening to music or eating while doing homework. The homework should be clean and tidy, and the handwriting should be clear and neat. It is normal for children to make mistakes in their homework. Parents should not check for their children. Instead, they should guide their children to self-check, discover mistakes in time and correct them in time.
5. The habit of thinking.
"Thinking" means using your brain to think. During learning, children must be inspired to ask more whys and encourage them to get to the bottom of things. When something happens, let your children talk about their opinions. Even if they are wrong, they are the result of their "thinking" after all.
Of course, cultivating children's good study habits does not happen overnight. It requires children's long-term and unremitting efforts, as well as parents' patient cooperation, conscious training and reinforcement. Once children develop good study habits, parents will find that learning is very easy for their children.
Finally: The most important thing is that parents should set an example. Parents should be willing to cultivate their children's various abilities, so that their children can be self-reliant and self-reliant from an early age, live a positive and optimistic life, and pay attention to their children's behavior. Activities, clarifying children's sense of right and wrong, participating in more physical activities on behalf of children, and grasping the scale. These are easy to say, but it takes a lot of energy to do them well.
I hope parents will pay more attention to their children instead of giving them whatever they want! The above content refers to the wisdom of some people who love and care for children. I hope more people can get help!
