A traditional unit of time in China. Divide a day and a night into twelve sections, each called one hour, which is now two hours. Twelve o'clock is named after the earthly branch, starting from midnight, and it is midnight at midnight, and noon at noon. Song Sushi's "Please Open the Three Provincial Lakes" has six articles: "Now the gate has been erected, although it will be closed for an hour or two at each high tide ... those who want to enter and leave the gate by public or private boats will not sit still until it is closed."

Time origin
At first, the ancient working people mainly referred to the obvious astronomical phenomena, animal biological clocks and daily laws, such as crow, pingdan, chaoshi, Japan and China, people's daily life, etc. Later, they gradually used the readings of timing equipment to describe the time, and later they gradually used the five elements to distribute the readings of these timing equipment.
For example, the characters A and B match wood (4:48-9:36), C and D match fire (9:36- 14:24) and Wuji match soil (14: 24-19:/kloc). These parallel meetings have no practical significance.
