Synchronous rope skipping is a traditional sports event in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, and it is one of the fourth batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage lists in Shaanxi Province.
Synchronized rope skipping includes 12 categories, more than 60 rope paths and more than 300 jumping modes, which is suitable for collective performances in the square. Generally, the most common practitioners are "eight sets of rope diameters for beginners and square drills": four basic skills, eight rope skipping exercises, rope skipping dance, marching rope skipping and rope array, bodybuilding rope skipping exercises, long rope jumping, double rope skipping and rope skipping exercises. "Elementary Eight Sets of Ropes" is often accompanied by the music "Jumping Songs".
