Legend of Qiancheng Bridge

Nowadays, when people pass through Tangkou Village in Pingnan, they can see a majestic, simple and dignified wooden bridge from a distance, just like Changhong lying on the waves, spanning the confluence of Tangxi and Baixi. But who would have thought that the CuO Bridge was destroyed by the flood? It is said that CuO Bridge was built and destroyed because of the struggle between two Hebo cities. During this period, I don't know how many people died in the belly of the fish, and how many people. Zhou Daquan, a philanthropist in Qing Dynasty, was uneasy about building a bridge. One night, Zhou Daquan dreamed that a golden rooster came down from the ground and stood on the river, with its wings just on both sides. In the twilight, he saw a bodhisattva standing on the back of a chicken, leading water to both sides. When he woke up, he saw the morning light. He thought it was the guidance of the gods and immediately went forward to take the lead in raising money for reconstruction. At the beginning of the construction of this bridge, people enthusiastically contributed their work and materials. It can be said that it was completed in only one autumn and winter with the support of all parties. The bridge is 70 meters long and 6 meters wide. The main bridge is framed by 260 Chinese fir trees, relying on rafters and trusses, which intersect and depend on each other. The bottom of the bridge is arched and the deck is flat. Both sides of the bridge deck are neat and symmetrical, and hundreds of columns are erected. The roof of the bridge is covered with tiles and scales, which are similar in shape to the buildings in the famous ancient painting The Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival. It's really ingenious, ingenious. Legend has it that on the day when CuO Bridge was completed, the first thing Zhou Daquan did was to show a special blessing gift to thank the Buddha for his dream. In the middle of the night, Zhou Daquan, who was waiting for incense, vaguely heard the sound of a stream like chicken wings patting water, and the horn gave off a crisp chicken crow. At that time, the rooster crowed in the village, and thousands of men, women and children "listened to the chicken dance", beating gongs and drums and setting off firecrackers, and flocked to the bridge. All people worship the bridge, burn incense and recite scriptures, and pray that God will bless the bridge forever. Later, according to the image of a dream bodhisattva, Zhou Daquan sculpted himself in the middle of the bridge, facing the tide, that is, the revered bodhisattva Wang Xianling burned incense to commemorate future generations. Zhou Daquan wrote a monument to Qiao Zhile, built a bridge and carried the county annals. For good luck, people changed the name of CuO Bridge to Qiancheng Bridge.

The legend of killing bridges

Two miles north of shengze town, there is a Jufu Bridge made of bluestone, which is less than three steps wide. During the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty (1860), on April 13th, Li Xiucheng, a loyal soldier, led the Taiping Army to conquer Suzhou City. On April 25, it occupied Wujiang County.

City. In order to open the passage between Suzhou and Xiuzhou (now Jiaxing), the Taiping Army first sent a team to push south.

Bamboo. One day, it was widely rumored in shengze town that the Taiping Army had crossed the horizon, and all the soldiers and rich people in the town fled in fear.

When we arrived at Jufu Bridge, it was crowded, narrow and crowded, and the bridge was blocked immediately. Just then, there was a cry of funeral.

: "The material is coming! The materials are coming! " It means that the coffin is coming, please make way. Qing soldiers and wealth scrambled to escape.

In his panic, God made no distinction. He listened to the cry of "materials are coming" behind him and mistakenly thought that Taiping Army materials were coming (all of them) and crossed the bridge. Frightened, I pricked (squeezed) hard.

Suddenly, they made a mess, trampled on each other, or were trampled to death, or fell into the water and drowned. Since then, Jufu Bridge has been renamed Zhasha Bridge.

When you enter Dong Township, you can often see a unique wind and rain bridge. Speaking of Yuqiao, there is a myth and legend.

In ancient times, there was no equal village. Dong lived on a hillside in a small hut with only a dozen families. There was a young man named Buka in a small hut. He married a wife named Pei Guan. The couple are so in love that they are almost inseparable. When they came back from work, one picked firewood, one carried grass, one carried a hoe and one carried Petunia, and they followed. This crown is very beautiful. When the couple crossed the bridge, the fish in the river jumped out of the water enviously to see them.

One morning, the river suddenly swelled. Mr. and Mrs. Buka were anxious to work in Xishan, and they didn't care much. They walked together to the small wooden bridge in front of the village. Just as they walked to the middle of the bridge, a strong wind suddenly blew, which made Buka unable to open his eyes. Pei Guan sighed and fell into the river. Buka opened his eyes and saw that his wife was gone. Knowing that he was blown into the river, he jumped into the water and plunged into it. However, I looked for it several times and found it. When the villagers found out, they all rushed to help him find it. They searched for a long time, but they still couldn't find Pei Guan. What the hell is going on here?

It turned out that there was a crab essence deep in the bend of the river, which rolled the crown into the hole at the bottom of the river. Suddenly, the crab essence turned into a beautiful teenager and wanted to be his wife, but he refused and slapped him. He immediately exposed the humiliating threat of winning the championship. Pei Guan cried and cursed, and the sound of crying and cursing spread from the bottom of the river to the ear of a flower dragon upstream.

At this time, it was stormy and the waves were rolling, and I saw a flower dragon in the waves, looking around with its head held high. The faucet looks to the left, the wave hits the left, the left side collapses, the faucet looks to the right, the wave rushes to the right, and the right bank cracks. The small wooden bridge has been washed away by the waves. Everyone is scared. But when the faucet came to the beach in Buka, it calmed down after several waves. Later, the flower dragon circled the water and rushed to the bottom of the river. Suddenly, the sound of the bottom of the river "Gu Gu Gong" kept coming, and the maelstrom came one after another. Then, a black smoke emerged from the water and rose into the air, turning into a dark cloud. The flower dragon rushed into the air after it, churning its body, pressing the dark cloud down, and finally pressing it to its true colors. It turned out to be a black crab as big as the top of the Drum Tower. The black crab ran away and climbed to a three-foot cliff. The dragon fell into the water and did a somersault. With a flick of its tail, it swept the crab into the water again. After these rounds, the crab was exhausted and waddled to the bamboo forest, trying to block the dragon with bamboo. However, the dragon jumped up and opened its mouth to spray water, causing the bamboo forest to fall one by one and the crab to fall into the river again. After the dragon chased it to the end, the waves rolled down the river, and then the black crab was never seen again. Later, not far from the bend of the river, a black stone in the shape of a crab was exposed, which is where Hualong strangled the crab essence. This stone was later called crab stone.

When the river was calm, I heard a woman's voice calling on the opposite beach. Buka saw that it was his wife. Buka immediately called several people to go swimming. After landing, Pei Guan said to Buka: "Thank you for the rescue of Hualong!" This just knows that Hualong saved her, and everyone is very grateful to Hualong. At this time, the flower dragon flew back to the upstream, nodding to people from time to time.

This matter soon spread all over Dongxiang. Everyone changed the small wooden bridge near the water surface into a big wooden bridge like an air corridor, and carved dragon patterns on the four central pillars of the bridge, wishing the dragon to stay there. After the completion of the big wooden bridge in the air corridor, a grand celebration ceremony was held, which was very lively. At this time, there are colorful clouds floating in the sky, shaped like a long dragon, shining in all directions. When people look closely, it is Hualong who comes back to visit everyone. Therefore, people later called this kind of bridge Huilong Bridge. Some places are also called flower bridge, and because it can shelter from wind and rain, it is also called wind and rain bridge.

The ancient Zhaozhou is now Zhaoxian County, Hebei Province. There are two stone bridges in Zhaozhou, one in the south and the other in the west. The Dashiqiao in the south of the city is like a dragon rode by Changhong. It's spectacular on the river. According to folklore, this big stone bridge was built by Luban. The small stone bridge in the west of the city looks like a small white floating on the water. It is said that this small stone bridge was built by Luban's sister Lu Jiang. These two bridges are well built! "Little Cowherd" was staged on the stage, and there was such a lyric: "Grandpa Luban of Zhaozhou Shiqiao repaired it, the sage of the jade railing stayed, Zhang rode the donkey bridge, and the firewood rolled the ditch." This is the legend of Lubanxiu Zhao Zhouqiao.

According to legend, Lu Ban and his sister traveled around the world. When they arrived in Zhaozhou, a white river stopped them. People push carts, carry burdens, sell onions, sell garlic, ride horses to catch exams, and pull donkeys to catch meetings, making a scene and vying to cross the river into the city. There are only two boats swaying from side to side in the river, and few people can cross it for a long time. Lu Ban saw it and asked, "Why don't you build a bridge over the river?" People say, "If you dare to repair it, you can't find such a skilled craftsman with lanterns!" " "Lu Ban listened, and his heart moved. Sister, the river is wide, the water is deep, and the waves are urgent. Whose sister Lu Jiang agreed to build two bridges for pedestrians?

Lu Ban said to his sister, "Let's build a big stone bridge first, and then a small one!"

Lu Jiang said, "All right!"

Luban said; "Repairing bridges is hard work, don't be afraid of hardship!"

Lu Jiang said: "Not afraid!"

Lu Ban said: "It's good not to be afraid. Your heart is stupid and your hands are clumsy. If you are afraid of suffering, you will be in trouble. " This sentence made Lu Jiang unhappy. She said unconvinced, "Don't blame me for being all thumbs. Today, we will repair it alone. You fix the big one, and I'll fix the small one. "

A game to see who can fix it quickly and well. "

Lu Ban said, "OK, let's play! When will it start and when will it be completed? "

Lu Jiang said: "As soon as it gets dark, the stars will start to work, and chickens will call it morning." It's a deal. Brother and sister prepare separately.

Luban leisurely headed west towards the mountains. When Lu Jiang arrived in the west of the city, he hurried to do it. As she repaired it, she thought, don't be busy, I have to pull you down. Sure enough, the small stone bridge was repaired after midnight. Then she quietly ran to the south of the city to see what her brother had done. When I came to the south of the city, there was not even a bridge on the river. Luban is not by the river either. She thinks her brother will lose this time. I can see when I turn my head, on the Taihang Mountain in the west, a man is driving a flock of sheep to jump down the mountain. Looking closer, it turned out that her brother was driving the sheep. Where is the shepherd? The stone as white as snow and as smooth as jade has arrived. When these stones reached the river, they became processed stones in a blink of an eye. There are square bridge foundation stones, rectangular bridge deck stones, crescent-shaped arch ring stones and beautiful railings. Beautiful sentry boxes, all used on bridges, have everything. Lu Jiang was shocked when he saw it. How strong it would be to build a bridge with such a good stone! In contrast, the one I made is not good, and I need to find a way to remedy it quickly. It's too late to rebuild, so work hard to catch up with him in carving! She quietly returned to the west of the city and began to work. On the railing, she carved Pangu Tiankai and Dayu to control water, and also carved Cowherd and Weaver Girl and Feng Dan facing the sun. What rare birds and animals, exotic flowers and herbs, carved like real ones. Carving birds can spread their wings and fly, carving flowers and smelling incense. She was satisfied with this exquisite sculpture and ran to the south of the city to peek at Lu Ban. At first glance, I let out a cry of surprise. How did Changhong in the sky fall on the river? Looking carefully, it turned out that my brother built the bridge, except for the last sentry on the bridge. Her uncle played a joke on his brother when he won the bet. She crouched behind the willow tree, holding her throat and stretching her neck. "Goo goo-"She quickly learned to crow from the last person. Her cry caused chickens to crow in the neighborhood. Lu Ban heard the cock crow, looked at the post, fixed it on the bridge, and the bridge was built.

Two bridges, one big and one small, are very beautiful. The big stone bridge in Luban is magnificent and durable; The small stone bridge built by Lu Jiang is exquisite and beautiful. Zhaozhou built two bridges overnight, and the next day it caused a sensation in the nearby prefectures and counties. Everyone saw it, and everyone praised it. Skillful craftsmen come here to learn skills, and girls with good skills come here to draw patterns. People who come to visit every day are like running water. This miracle soon reached the ears of Peng Caixian's daughter Zhang. Zhang didn't believe this at all. He thought that Lu Ban had such a great skill! I asked Master Chai to come and have a look. Zhang is riding a little black donkey and Chai Wang is pushing a unicycle. When they came to Zhaozhou Dashiqiao, they happened to meet Lu Ban standing on the bridge, watching the passers-by laughing! Zhang Lao Guo asked Lu Ban, "Did you build this bridge?" Lu Ban said, "Yes, what's the matter?" Zhang pointed to the little black donkey and Chai's car and said, "Can it stand when we cross the bridge?" Lu Ban gave them a fat look and said, "The big mule is in Malaysia, but the gold car and the silver car can get by, but the broken car can't?" "Zhang changed his wallet. Hearing this, he felt that his tone was too big, so he used magic to gather the sun and the moon together and put them on the donkey's back. The sun was on the left and the moon was on the right. Master Chai also used magic to gather the five famous mountains and put them in the car. They laughed and pushed the donkey onto the bridge. As soon as I got on the bridge, I watched it flickering. Lu Ban quickly jumped under the bridge, raised his right hand to hold the bridge and saved it.

When they passed by, Zhang looked back at the bridge and said to Chai, "Chai praised it many times. The bridge built by Lu Ban is really a Chinese odyssey. Ben looked at their backs and nodded yes, and gave a thumbs-up to Lu Ban who had just returned to the bridge. Lu said, "People are not simple! " "

Now, on the bridge deck of Zhaozhou Stone Bridge, there are still footprints of riding a donkey and ditch marks rolled by Chai Wang's cart. Anyone who goes to Zhaozhou Shiqiao can see that there is a big handprint under the bridge, but now it is not clear.

Open the map of Beijing, and you can find a place called Jiuxianqiao in the northeast corner. Jiuxianqiao used to be a remote village, but now it is full of tall buildings and spacious roads. Why is this place called "Jiuxianqiao"?

According to folklore, people opened a river here a long time ago. If you have a river, you must have a bridge. I don't know when the bridge was built, but no one dared to cross it. While everyone was hesitating, an old man with a gray beard pushed a unicycle with four baskets of wine and went straight to the bridge. People have been talking about: "This old man has a lot of strength! Four baskets of wine are at least 200 kilograms! " While speaking, the car has reached the middle of the bridge, and I don't know who is fishing in the crowd! "Shouted:" what great strength! "As soon as the voice fell, the car tilted to the right and the two baskets of wine on the right fell into the river." Oh, no! Hurry up, everyone is trying to help, but the old man casually pushed the car away and disappeared in an instant. A careful person said: "A car with a side weight of 100 kilograms can push smoothly like that when it is empty." Good god! " At this time, a bouquet of wine floated out of the river. "Good wine!" "It smells good!" Someone suggested, "Shall we call this bridge Jiuxian Bridge?" "good!" "good!" Thus, there is the name of "Jiuxian Bridge".

With Jiuxian Bridge, everyone nearby is happy. You can scoop some river water if you want to drink. Hey! It is really the taste of wine, even if it is faint, it can satisfy the addiction.

One day, an old man with a black beard came, picked out a basket of wine and set up a shed by the river to sell it. Since then, the smell of wine in the river is getting weaker every day, while the business of the old man with black beard is getting more and more prosperous. People began to suspect the old man: he always sold wine at dawn and didn't close the door until dark. Why does a basket of wine take so long?

On this day, everyone elected a young man to lurk in the sorghum field near the shed after dinner to observe the movement of the old man. In the middle of the night, the old man walked to the river with a wine basket and spoon, looked around, scooped up half the river with one spoon and returned to the shed. The young man found out the details and sneaked home quietly. He planned to tell the villagers tomorrow and get even with the old man.

The next day, at first light, the young man took the villagers to the shed. A look, in addition to the old man with black beard, there are two more people, one is the old man with white beard who threw the wine basket into the river, and the other is the old man with white beard more than two feet long. They are tearing down the shed and packing things. Everyone was shocked. The young man asked the old man with a white beard, "Aren't you a fairy?" Why is it here? "The old man smiled and said nothing. The old man with white beard laughed and pointed to the old man with white beard and said, "This man who poured wine into the water is my son. "The other refers to an old man with a black beard." This is my grandson who poured water into the wine. There are no gods! "After that, I left with my son and grandson. Since then, the river in Jiuxianqiao has lost its wine flavor. Since then, the wine sellers in Jiuxianqiao area are afraid to pour water into the wine, let alone pour wine into the water. It is said that they are afraid to be the sons and grandchildren of the old man with white beard.

According to the legend of footbridge, Meng Jiangnv set out from Huating County (now Songjiang County) and went to Wan Li day and night to find her husband. One day, I went to Little China, ten miles east of shengze town. As soon as I set foot on the nameless small stone bridge, the accompanying slaves got evil thoughts and said with a lewd smile, "Miss, Wan Xianggong has been building the Great Wall for more than three years, and there is no news at all. Life and death are unpredictable. How did your three-inch golden lotus survive so much during this trip to Wan Li? Why don't we get married and have fun? " Hearing this, Meng Jiangnv was angry and ashamed. She had answers and forced a smile. She said softly, "What do you think?" The slave thought Meng Jiangnu agreed and was overjoyed. He said, "Just do as the young lady says!" Meng Jiangnu pointed to the blooming lotus under the bridge and said, "The lotus in the water is bright and beautiful. You can pick two flowers, then use flowers as a medium. " Slaves don't know water, please forgive me. Meng Jiangnu refused and took off her foot binding cloth. One end is tied to the slave's waist, and the other end is pinched in his own hand, saying, "Don't worry, I'll pull it for you." The slave shook down his cloth and got farther and farther away from the bridge. At this time, Meng Jiangnu was angry from her chest and stamped her feet and scolded: "Evil slave, you are killing yourself. You can't blame the weak woman!" As soon as Bibu let go, the slave struggled to slowly sink to the bottom of the water and died. Meng Jiangnv left a small footprint on the west side of the bridge where she stepped on her foot. The footprint was pointed in front and round in the back, about three inches long. Since then, Xiaoshiqiao has been passed down to this day in the name of "Little Foot Bridge".
