Education and Scientific Research in Zhou Zhiming

The main research direction is heterogeneous catalytic reaction engineering, including the design and preparation of heterogeneous catalysts, reaction kinetics research and reactor modeling. The key research work includes selective hydrogenation of alkynes or diolefins, hydrogen production by steam reforming of hydrocarbons or alcohols, and CO2 capture technology based on Ca cycle.

In recent years, the scientific research projects undertaken include the Youth Fund and General Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation, the special fund for basic scientific research business expenses of the central universities of the Ministry of Education, the 863 sub-project, the open fund of the State Key Laboratory, the projects entrusted by Sinopec, PetroChina and other enterprises. Up to now, more than 40 papers have been published in domestic and foreign academic journals such as Car J. and Chemistry. English Sci。 , and obtained two national invention patents.
