Meningeal encephalitis is mainly affected by infectious or toxic factors. At first, inflammatory changes occurred in the pia mater and the whole subarachnoid space, and then invaded the brain through blood and lymph routes, causing inflammatory reaction in the brain parenchyma, or both meninges and brain parenchyma were inflamed at the same time. Meningeal encephalitis is a disease with severe brain dysfunction, which manifests as systemic brain symptoms or focal symptoms. Clinical manifestations are sudden onset, foaming at the mouth, convulsions and rapid death.

It is suggested that (1) sick pigs should be injected with 2.5% chlorpromazine hydrochloride solution 4m 1, and then acupuncture points such as Tianmen, Baihui, Su Qi and Bazi should be used, followed by coptis chinensis, gardenia, Uncaria rhynchophylla, Artemisia capillaris, Acorus gramineus, Saposhnikovia divaricata, cinnabar 2g and Codonopsis 20g. Decoct with water, daily 1 dose, twice. (2) Take 2 Angong Niuhuang Pills (pigs weighing less than 50kg 1 pill) and take them once with warm boiled water. 60 ml of magnesium sulfate, once injected into Naoshu point. Vitamin colloidal calcium 10ml, once intramuscular injection. 20ml vinegar, binaural hole 10ml, acupuncture and moxibustion to lock the mouth, switch, jaw, bridge of nose, mountain root, inch and other points.
