Correction exercise of genu valgus

Knee valgus, also known as leg touching, commonly known as "external splayed leg", is a common deformity of lower limbs. Its deformity is the opposite of genu varus. When the lower limbs naturally straighten or stand, when the knees collide, the inner ankles of the feet are separated and cannot be brought together. The genu valgus of both lower limbs is X-shaped, so it is also called X-shaped leg. The genu valgus of a lower limb is in the shape of "K", also called "K" leg.

♀? Massage thigh muscles

In non-surgical treatment, it is suitable for patients with mild valgus whose joints still have a considerable range of motion, such as thigh muscle massage, manual massage and orthopedic support. For children, plaster splint or plaster can be used to correct deformities one by one, and then support can be maintained for a long time to prevent recurrence. Massage thigh muscles, especially medial muscles, including quadriceps femoris and sartorius muscles, and take active exercise on the platform. This can enhance the antagonistic muscle strength of genu valgus.

♀? Motion correction

Through passive and active exercise, the soft tissue of lateral contracture is lengthened, the epiphysis is stimulated, and the development tends to be normal.
